Cancellation reasons
When a customer wants to cancel, a short form pops up asking why they want to cancel, and maybe offers a coupon, etc

Zoho Subscriptions allows you to customize your customer cancellation journey. You can either place a plain text box to collect the cancellation reason, or enter pre-defined options for the customers to choose from.
To try this, please log into your Zoho Subscriptions account and choose Settings > Preferences > Subscriptions > Cancellation preferences.

Live chat or direct messaging system in client portal
I think an option for live chat or direct messaging via the portal is a good option. So when us and the client are logged in we can talk easyier. Great for smaller companies.

Display Zoho Subscriptions in Zoho Desk
Our company uses Zoho Desk to handle all customer service related requests. When a client calls in, we need to check Zoho Subscriptions to see if they are currently active, and which plan they have. It would be very helpful if that information was automatically displayed in Zoho Desk. I'm aware that some customer fields can be passed through CRM to Desk, but it would be much easier to simply display the customer's subsipcription in Desk. There is already an integration for this for CRM so if that same integration could be added to Desk that would be very helpful.

webhooks should have verification token provided by the user
For added security, it would be nice to have webhooks sending verification token in the POST headers, like auth token, which will be provided by the user at the time of creating webhook. Verification token makes it possible to know if the webhook is actually originated from zoho subscriptions.

Webhook for subscription custom fields update action.
If your are using custom fields to keep data specific to your app and you are using Zoho Subsc as the visual interface then it would be necessary to have a webhook trigger on custom fields update to keep your app's db in sync. Please consider this.

In Zoho Subscriptions, when you configure an event-based webhook, you can choose if you’d like to trigger the webhook when any field in a subscription is updated (or) when select fields are updated. By choosing either of these, you can trigger a hook once the subscription custom fields are updated.

Add SMS notifications
Please add an option for SMS notifications along side email. People don't use email where I live. SMS would be better for communication. Also most (ALL) payments are done offline. So SMS is the best option. Also can I create a customer without adding an email address please?

Customer Portal
Hi
I think having a Customer portal where a customer can view the status of their subscription, view past invoices, payments etc even upgrade / downgrade from there. Similar portal idea to Zoho Books portal would be a great feature. If Payments Pro gateway is configured, the option to pay through Express Checkout appears by default. It should configurable.

Coupons applied to one-time add-ons
Coupons cannot be currently applied to one-time add-ons.
Example: Our new customers often have an "Installation Fee" that is a one-time add-on when they sign up. They may have a coupon when they sign up too. The coupon should be applied to the entire balance when they sign up, not just the recurring charges.

We are happy to announce that Zoho Subscriptions now supports Zero quantity for add-ons in hosted pages.
Following are the steps to enable this.
- Log in to your Zoho Subscriptions account.
- Click on Gear icon > Hosted Pages.
- Next, under the Order Summary tab, check the “Quantity editable”.
- Then, enable the “Allow customer to exclude Addon(s)” checkbox that appears.Thereon customers will be able to enter zero in the add-on quantity.

Add Custom Fields to Advanced Search
We really need to use Custom Fields in the Customer records to be able to use Subscriptions. Currently we can't search based on information in the custom fields. This is almost a show stopper for us as it makes it very difficult for users to quickly locate customers.

Deleting a subscription that was accidentally created.
Well, possibly you could add a delete function if the subscription never resulted in a transaction? I understand not deleting subscriptions that resulted in a invoice, but if there never was an invoice, no history, etc, i don’t see why it couldn’t be removed from the front-end?

Hold on Subscriptions
I need to be able to put a hold on subscriptions. I'd prefer to not have to cancel a subscription if the customer is suspending auto renewal for a month.

Thank you for showing your support for this feature. We understand that putting customer subscriptions on a temporary hold is really important for your business. Zoho Subscriptions allows you do this by simply pausing the subscriptions.
You can pause it immediately or schedule it for a later date. If you know when it wants to be resumed, you can even tell that to Zoho Subscriptions, and the system will take care of it! Here’s our help document on this:

We have an option to change the “sender” email to one of your organization email address under Settings → Organization Profile —> Primary Contact. Click on the Change link and choose the option.

Allow edition of Subscriptions with Future status
Hello !!
When trying to change the quantity of a subscription that is still with status = Future, using the Zoho Subscriptions API, I got this error:
{"code":107204,"message":"Future subscriptions can not able to update."}
We are working in an automation process that requires an initial (migration) creation of a few thousand subscriptions to start in a future date (in a range of 1 to 365 days), however in that time frame the customer can change the quantity (adding or reducing the number of users) associated with the subscription.
We need to keep that quantity updated, while still waiting for the…
