  1. Manufacturing

    Have the ability to take raw fabrics and convert them to finished products.

    For example:

    Fabric A costs $5 / m

    Finished product 1 takes 0.5 m of fabric A to make plus labor.

    You increase finished product 1 by 1 pc. The BOM (bills of material) automatically reduces fabric A by 0.5 meters and calculates labour or 15 minutes to come up with a final cost for finished product 1.

    Is basic manufacturing going to be available for zoho inventory?

  2. To Create and Develop as a Complete Point of Sales (PoS) Suite as an enhancement of ZOHO inventory

    PoS software suite will help any traders like Wholesalers, Retailers, or any Buying and Selling being carried out . I am personally following and would Suggest ZOHO to come out with POS suite which will take care of following (not limited to).
    - Inventory Management (Incoming and Outgoing, Stock management, Reorder Levels, Economic Order Quantities etc)
    - Any time Tracking of Materials in Logistics (Similar to Parts delivery Tracking in Ecommerce sites)
    - Barcode and RFID scanning mechanisms or compatibilities
    - Loyalty Points system for customers
    - Able to take reports on different Buying levels /items/ per customer

  4. Create a Packing List (needed for all imports/exports/customs)

    Many business export and import cargo, either domestically or international. ZOHO inventory can already create a SALES INVOICE for items sold, but how about a detailed packing list.. Not a package slip, but a PACKING LIST, this is a international standardize document used to inform the shipping company/airline/transport vessel the following

    -NO. OF PACKAGES/BOXES/CARTONS/CRATES etc. (called master carton)
    -WEIGHT OF EACH MASTER CARTON
    -Item contents of the CARTON, i.e. how many items in each carton and what items?
    -CBM (cubic feet space) of each carton
    -Dimension of Each carton wxhxl

  5. Batch and Serial Numbers Added on Packages and Receives...NOT Bills and Invoices!

    I order a several products from a manufacturer, they ship 1 today. It arrives at my warehouse. My warehouse manager looks at the product, sees the batch number, and can't edit it on a receive???? The bill may not arrive for weeks. When it does, it may combine several receives. When it does arrive it goes to the accounting office, which now has no idea what the batch number was on the merchandise.

    In the meanwhile, I receive an order for the part. I prepare a package. My warehouse can't package the order until the bill arrives????That's crazy. Then they…

  7. Purchase item with different unit of measure than sell item

    We need to be able to purchase items in a different unit of measure (uom) than the sold items uom.

    For example we buy items in qty units of 1 = 2.9 meter of material or 114 inches of material, and we sell that item by the inch. We build assemblies by the inch. Creating Purchase order's with by the in measurements is useless because the vendor does not recognize anything but their own units of measure. This is a very common situation.   10. Create an Online Order Form (Wholesale)

    Create an Online OrderForm where wholesale clients can ask for a re-stock through their portal.
    Each time we get an order we need to add manually all items.

    1. Client enters portal
    2. Sees all items
    3. Orders - We get the Sale Order
    4. We give a price from the price lists
    5. User pays - We ship.

  11. Item Management

    1.inventory items, non inventory items, and inventory groups.
    2. Part number, Manufacturer part #'s, Multiple Venders part numbers all for same item.
    3. Let me enter multiple venders pricing on same items.
    4. Allow easy search on downloaded database on mobile device for quick invoicing/estimating.
    5. Allow pictures with some items.
    6. Allow customized defined fields..... lots of them.

  12. why It's not possible to sell an item by boxes?

    why It's not possible to sell an item by boxes or packets and the quantity reduces from the main unit for the item which is CTN cartoon?
    The idea is making an option to determine the quantity of an item by more than one unit. for example by CTN as main unit, and Box as a Sub-unit, but the calculated or tracking for the item will be based on both of them.

  14. Zoho CRM Sales Orders integration with Zoho Inventory Sales Orders

    We use Zoho CRM to record new Sales Orders from customers. It will be great if the Sales Orders from Zoho CRM are synced to Zoho Inventory including the custom fields in Zoho CRM please.

    There was a confusion on the earlier comment. Zoho CRM Sales order and Zoho Inventory SO for now won’t integrate. With all existing capabilities and with more tax handling capabilities finance SO would be developed and Zoho Inventory would be made available from Zoho CRM interface.

  15. Flatten top level composite items to view consolidated BOM components

    There needs to be a way to 'flatten' a top level composite item that is made up of other composite items and regular items, that way you can see ALL components that make up the top level composite item and the consolidated total quantity of each part.

    Example: you make a product called Composite Item Product, which contains multiple sub assemblies, Composite Sub 1, Sub 2, Sub 3, Sub 4. These Composite Subs have multiple parts to them, some of the parts may be shared ("Screw A" for example). Currently you have to manually look at each Composite Sub individually…

  17. Operate Online or Offline with Zoho Books, Zoho Invoice and Zoho Inventory. Possible?

    Can we have a Multi-User, Multi-Location, Multi-Store system where Customers can operate Offline and then End of the Day Sync Online.

    Customers can Operate Offline to do POS Sales or Generate Orders or Track Inventory or Generate Pending Reports.

  19. have the "Package" that is created, show what is not being shipped on current shipment

    When we ship a package out, we use a printout of the "package" to send as a packing slip for the customer, but this only shows what is in the shipment. Frequently there is other products from the order that are not shipping due to being out of stock, but the customer has no way of knowing this!
    Could the "package" also show what is not being sent (backordered) with the current shipment, so the customer knows that it did not just get missed on the order?
