Varying renewal dates
One of our products is a 12-month contract. The client should be billed the same day of each month (IE, the 18th, or the 30th). Of course, if they are a 31st renewal, some months they need to be charged on the 30th (or in the case of February, on the 28th).
However, I set up a client for an 18th billing date, and when it ran, it was prorated and their renewal set for the 1st. Can we have the ability to use renewal dates other than the 1st of the month? Can we set them individually for each…

That is indeed a great suggestion. We do add comments when a payment method is added through the link successfully but we do not add one, whenever a mail goes out requesting for payment information. We will surely note this down and keep you updated when we roll this out. Thank you ! -
Include VAT in Zoho Sub Plans
We'd like to include the VAT in Zoho Subscription Plans so that when we charge the customer, he gets an invoice with the right amount.
Let's say that the price list displayed on our website is 120€/month
If we charge with Zoho Subscritption, we have to make a plan for 112.80€ in order to get a total of 120€ (6% VAT).We'd like to have 120€ TVA included in the plan.

Points Credit System for Metered Billing
For example, if you're a telecom company and have a certain number of minutes included in a subscription package. It would be nice if it was possible to configure metered billing to include x amount of minutes for free with the plan, and then charge per minute used over the number included in the plan.

Commission on Subscriptions, both internal and external
I'd really like to be able to put multiple commission expenses in the product field. Then I would have an accounting of the commission value, based on the subscriptions sold and the quantity. Also adding several matching internal and external sales reps would allow me to pull commission reports, send the data to Zoho books and track it in analytics.
Finally, the ability to make the commission due or paid out automatically as an option when the invoice was paid would also be wonderful!

Establish Min-Max values on plans and add-ons
We would like clients to subscribe to our product with a minimum user of 5. We also want a maximum user limit for a specific plan after which client will have to switch to higher plan (next) that have unlimited users.
On hosted page, minimum value should be taken into consideration for user not to enter value below same for max value.3 votes -
In our business we need to bill customers monthly for 1,2,3 or 4 meters, and we need to have a start meter and an end meter for audit.
We charge our customers a base service fee as well as a black and white copies meter and a color copies meter. We need to have a start meter and end meter on each invoice we send out so customer can audit the meters. Also, some customers have an allowance of copies included on their contract.

Enable Pause / Resume Subscription in Portal
Customers should be able to pause and resume their subscription directly in the Customer Portal.

Provide ability to modify subscription then regenerate invoice
It would be great to have the ability to update the addons and usage after an invoice is generated at the start of the new term (say as a result of a mistake or failure of the usage collector that was meant to call the ZOHO API) and then have the invoice regenerated (replacing the old one) and if required (as if invoice already paid) an adjustment charged billed or credit note applied to the account

Add created_time and update_time to batch exports for subscriptions
Currently there is no a way to export values of createdtime and updatedtime (probably DateTimeOffset?) values when you making a batch export. This making a challenge if you need to process only new or changed subscriptions subset for some import procedure, e. g. to bigquery or other database for analisys without making many of requests to zoho to obtain.

EMI option for Zoho subscriptions clients
Can you create Easy EMI options for Clients who are using membership that I create using Zoho Subscriptions.
E.g. If I have a membership of 6 monthly payment plan, the client should be able to subscribe to that plan and then pay the amount in 2 or 3 installments.

Add a label on the subscription within the customer portal
Currently if a customer has more than one of the same subscription product there is no way of identifying what that subscription relates to.
If using this for say a hosting service here we would have the option to add a label / reference or say "Server Name" to the subscription.
Being able to update this via Zapier would be amazing!

Update the Expiration Date
Ability to edit and update the expiration date after setting up the subscription. It would be very helpful for people that already have one system but want to transition to your system

Automatic VAT
The ability to accomodate VAT automatically to a subscription, based on the country instead of having to create multiple plans for each and every country's VAT.

Add JSON export of subscriptions data to fetch them in same format as they arrive in subscription events
Having such export with detailed JSON data about subscriptions in same format as subscription data arrives to webhooks or returned via "Retrieve Subscription" API endpoint will allow to fetch customer. card, custom fields and notes detailed information avaialble without tons of requests to Zoho API.

Retry Settings
We have two products in our Zoho Subscriptions and would like the ability to have the option to set each product different retry settings. One to mark the invoice as "Unpaid" and the other product "Cancelled".

Separate app for sales person
It would be great to have a separate portal or app for sales persons. In that way they can track the sales they have made and commission earned. It would also be an opportunity to incorporate some element of competition through Gamescope which is used in Zoho CRM.

Add an option to enable portal automatically every time a new subscription is created for a customer. We convert our customers (monthly recurring subscriptions) from Zoho CRM, not a website API. The only way to enable the client portal today is manually for every customer. this is too cumbersome and prone to human error (forgetting).
