  2. Cloning of custom templates

    It would be nice to have the ability to clone custom templates the same way you can clone other templates.

  3. Contract Manager

    It would be nice to have a "contract" manager addition to contacts. This could be accomplished by checking a box for adding contract info such as start and end dates, contract amount, etc. it would also be nice if Zoho would send reminder emails prior to expiration date of contracts. This may be achievable via Workflow Automation but would we nice if if were part of the package.

  4. Entering Time on Invoice

    It would be great if I could add time entries on invoices on a weekly basis. For example, I would be able to enter the date for the first of the week and the date of the end of the week and it would pull in the time for that client. So instead of just adding time up to a certain date, I would be able to add only tasks for specific weeks onto an invoice.

  5. Reporting for Merchindise Items by Category and Department

    I'd like to be able to run a report by Department to see a breakdown of each area of my company. In addition within those departments I'd like to see a breakdown by Category. These area should be custom fields to reflect the companies setup.

    For Example: Department - Gift Shop
    Category - T-Shirt
    Merchandise Name - Black Happy Small T-Shirt

  6. Automatically Invoice Unbilled Timesheets on a Recurring Basis

    Hello everyone,

    We are so glad to inform that we have provided the option of creating recurring invoices to projects in Zoho Invoice.

    Based on the set frequency, the system would automatically look for unbilled hours of the project and create invoices automatically.

    To make use of this, you can switch to the Timesheet tab, select a particular project and proceed with New transaction > Create Recurring Invoice.

    Can be used to call API to suspend unpaid service
    and run script/URL on payment to resume service

  8. Overtime,Double-time and Straight-time

    Sometimes I work a 14 hour straight shift. Have a way to check a box for straight thru time. You need a few more choices in the invoice section. But you input (start time / end time) or (choice) amount of hours worked. Popup happens "Do you wish to bill OT and DT" (Yes / No). "Yes" (calculate OT after how many hours (option 8,9,10, 11, 12 . . .)? at option ((Rate)1.5, (choices))? Calculate DT at (you would think * 2 but you never know add choices to better serve)? at option (12,13,14 ...hours))? Then Zoho takes that info…

  10. Option to select multiple / all projects for invoicing

    Create an option (Picklist) to select multiple / all projects for invoicing.

    If you are working on several projects each month and you want to invoice all unbilled project times to a client for a certain period you currently have to pick each project one by one.

  11. Allow entry of Expenses by User not project.

    We would like our Staff to be able to enter their expenses alongside their timesheets. However any profile we set up, not only shows details of the individuals expenses but also anyone else associated with the same project they are working on. Therefore we cannot use this potentially cost saving feature.
    We would like a feature where we can set up a profile where we can allow a user to be associated to a project to enter their timesheet and expenses for the project but only be able to see reporting information on the information that user has entered.

  12. Restrict list of customers for a given profile

    When in Zoho Invoice/ Reports for any profile, press Customise Report:

    then drop down to view Customer Name

    A user can see the name of all customers not just the ones they are/or have been assigned to. This is not great for providing access to time sheet functionality to Contractors who you might not want to be able to see full customer list.

  13. Zoho Invoices iOS Attachment Support

    Zoho Invoices's iOS app only supports iCloud integration. I will like to see Zoho Invoices integrate with Dropbox and Google Drive. Also, it will be great if a storage area can be added where some of the common files can be stored which are accessible while sending invoices from both the mobile app and online portal.

  15. Client Portal Ordering

    Allow customers to log in to the Client Portal to place an order (basically create their own invoice). This would send a notification of the order request that could be accepted by the company and then fulfilled.

    As an example, I use Zoho Invoice for my consumer products company to sell wholesale to retailers & distributors. It would be great if they could use the portal to make reorders of the items they are selling through.

  19. Order or Purchase Order

    Sometimes the expenses needed to be approved prior the settle or payment. Creating Purchase Order with approved signature will be very convenient. Then the Purchase Order can directly be sent to the suppliers. Additional options such as credit terms the supplier provides will also be helpful.

    Hello everyone,

    Since Zoho Invoice focuses primarily on the invoicing (sales) cycle of your business, the vendor management part would not be possible in Zoho Invoice.

    However, we have Zoho Books for that. It’s an accounting tool and a superset of Zoho Invoice. If you upgrade your Zoho Invoice organization to Books, all your data will be transferred over to Books. Here are the steps to upgrade -

    In Zoho Books, you can create bills and purchase orders easily and send it for approval. The approval flow is currently in the early access stage. You can reach out to support[at]zohobooks[dot]com so that we can enable it for you.

  20. Optional Items in Estimates, Allowing customer to select item he needs

    An estimate with multiple variety items can be submitted to customers. The customer must be able to select the items he needs( allowing the customer to select items and quantity) and accept the estimate.
