Hide Individual Line Item Costs But Still Show Total Cost
I would like to see the ability to hide individual line item costs while still showing the total price. I want my customers to see a lump sum price for all items on estimate while having the ability to hide each individual items cost.
Vote for this idea!!! This needs to be implemented.

Thank you for posting on our feedback forum.
In the pre-defined templates of Zoho Invoice, hiding the “Amount” column (which the final amount of a line item) would hide the entire total section too.
But, we do have a workaround (custom HTML templates) for this. Please reach out to support[at]zohoinvoice[dot]com to know more about this.

Enter expenses in original currency
Be able to enter expenses in original currency ans use the system to translate into base currency by using the Currency module

Update recurring invoice item descriptions when I update an item.
When updating an item description, it would be really nice if all future dated recurring invoices with that item were automatically updated with the new item description.

Ability to Create 'Recurring' Projects
Will be very helpful to complement 'recurring invoices' so projects that are ongoing will get budgeted on a project every month (for example will get X amount of hours budgeted per month), The projects may need to be then linked to the invoice and not just to the client.

Paypal business payments to show up as pending
Paypal business payments should show up as payment pending on client dashboard to avoid confusion. Also, the ability to make a payment on the same invoice twice is a big issue.

Calculation of item price from several components and adding margin
Please add 1 level down in the Estimates Item. All our products (displays, posters, custom made advertising materials) contain x amount of parts , but in the estimate we show the ready products price.
for example if we are offering- MUGS WITH CLIENTS LOG
It contains:
plain mugs
set up costs
printing
packaging
artwork preparationNow we combine all this in the excel, add margin of x% and manually enter the end price of the mug in the Estimate. Very time killing. And backwards, if client after some longer time accepts the Estimate, we have to remember(find) what the planned…

countdown
Stopwatch is making me nervous and unproductive.
How about you add a "countdown" option?
eg: "I will dedicate 25min to Task A", after 25min

Single sign-on with Zoho Desk
Currently, customers have one login to the Zoho Desk and a separate login to zoho Invoice. Systems should integrate, when an account is created for invoicing, should allow login to support portal and vise-versa. Also, should have the ability to deny specific users from accessing invoices (only allow support portal access). And allow us to set super-user client that can deny access to invoices for users under their company.

Improve online payment logos
I use PayPal and Stripe as online payment options (thanks for that capability!). The icon that appears in the invoice pdf shows PayPal just fine, but then a black vaguely credit-card looking thing for Stripe. It would be nice to have a better icon for Stripe that shows the cards accepted and distinguishes it as a separate option from PayPal (since PayPal also often indicates it can accept credit cards by using their logos).
Second, it would be great to use the same icons in the invoice notification email, instead of a hyperlink.

Several project invoice enhancements
I just like to ask for a few enhancements:
- Add the possibility to specify the items to use to mount the item number and description just once, and then select the projects to include in the invoice, also add a simple option to include all un invoiced timesheets in a given perior or up to date
so you speed up invoicing as you dont have to select for each project again and again the display data
also add an option for sorting, grouping and page break like
sort by date or sort by task

CRM fields mapping and auto populating INVOICE fields
When integrating CRM and Invoice or Books. Currently there are only a few fields that are pulled thru from CRM to Invoice / Estimate. Allow Mapping of Custom fields or standard fields in CRM to map and Populate fields in Invoice / Estimate.

User restriction feature.
Zoho invoice could add an extra feature which does not allow a user to create an invoice unless an estimate is being created by another user/users to even a particular user.

sub item in invoice and estimation
Adding a feature which allows sub items to be added to the invoice will further enhance zoho invoice.
This feature is very helpful for business which sells goods for example same work table but with different sizes, doors, photo frames etc.

Add ability to invoice customer for all projects in a given time period
- Choose a time period
- Choose a customer
- Invoice that customer for work done on multiple projects during that time period. This would include: A. A cover page including a figure representing all time billed during the period on all projects B. Separate pages for detailed invoices for each project billed C. Ability to apply retainer invoice to the total time billed during the period, instead of separately to each project during the period
