Custom fields to batch details in order to create specs per batch
it's mandatory for the food industry to add some more information to the batch details such as color description, moisture level, link to the images of the batch and more. as we are not selling products we are selling batches. this will help food companies to have better control over the batches they have in stock.

i work in the service/pest control industry.. would love to see an integration with outlook or google calender and a reminder system that is for us to call customer to renew their treatment(in my case) or insurances, .. at the moment you have a good system with invoicing but this reminder service is essential in retaining customers

Custom fields in transfer order
Add option to add custom field in Transfer orders and also the method of transferring as well as the customization of the template and one very important thing is that we cannot edit the transfer order. If there is any error in the transfer order we have to delete the previous transfer order and make a new one, which is very annyoing and time consuming task. Hope you guys can consider on this option. Thank you Zoho!

Allow automatic purchase orders/set quantities
Allow Minimum quantity on stock items and maximum. Set up for customized purchase orders from various venders when inventory is too low.

Composite items are not reflected as inventory levels (sub items) qty on hand. This makes this a useless feature

Provide more flexibiltiy in inventory reporting
When executing inventory reports, (optionally) suppress inactive items and/or items with no stock.
Also, allow for modification of output columns (ie. include warehouse name in output)

Import order / transfer Information with only SKU and Quantity column on CSV
The current IMPORT template has more than two columns. It takes more than 5 minutes to import a single order. With SKU and quantity column. The user only would need to scan all product's barcode on the SKU column and add quantity on the QUANITY column. Import the CSV so ZOHO automatically adds all information. Customer and warehouse location's information would be added manually. See Tradegecko's upload system to compare.

Automated drop ship support by product, by supplier.
I would love to see a scenario where we can select products which are always drop shipped, set a supplier that it is purchased/sent from and have the drop ship automated on approval.
Order comes in, has 2 items which drop ship from 2 suppliers, with 2 other items from inventory. Both those products are set to automatically be ordered for drop ship upon order confirmation.
SO is reviewed then set to confirmed in Zoho Inventory, PO is generated and sent to the drop ship supplier so that they can be sent easily.
This would remove some steps for merchants…

Edit Composite Items within Sales Orders
Problem: When adding a composite item to a sales order, we need to have that composite item be editable (within the sales order). Currently that's not possible, so if we have a customer that is placing an order for a composite item but wants to customize part of it, we can't accommodate it with Zoho Inventory.
Solution: we should be able to edit the Composite Items within the Sales Order view without altering the actual default composite item. This could be accomplished by pulling in the composite items as sub line items within the sales order.

Sales Order stock blocking
I suggest to add as a third option (besides upon packing slip creation or invoicing) to be able to block the stock when a sales order is raised, as this avoid the risk of having stock sold twice if there is a delay between the sales order and the delivery (some times for several weeks), in cases that the invoice is only send after the good arrival.

Sales Order/Shipment visibility in the customer portal
It would be beneficial for our customers to have visibility of their sales orders in process as well as invoice and estimates in the customer portal. Also it would be nice if the shipment details were included in the customer view as well. This way they can see from their portal shipments in transit, delivery dates etc.

RFP (Request for Proposal)
Hi
It will be very important a feature to request proposals to a VENDOR for particular itens that are already in the ITENS database or just a simple request for a new item.
Then VENDOR can answer in 2 ways:
a. Answer to the request by submiting a PDF proposal (that we should be able to se in the dashboard)
b. Answer by filling a form that will alow to add lines of itens/prices, etc.
We should be able to add this price lines and itens to the ITEM DATABASE if we want.

Allow custom fields at the Item Group level
A lot of high level fields are common to all sub items - so rather than keeping this information at the item level it would be more convenient to allow it at the item group level - easier to search, list and review. At the moment there are three attributes that can be added at the item group level which then create the items beneath using those different varieties. But summary data - common to all items - would be better at the group level.

Mulitple Warehouse is an amazing feature, it would be great if we could associate contacts with specific warehouse instead of choosing the warehouse at sales order / invoice level every time.

Invoicing and Packing List Creation
Packing List creation is a key factor for exports. Multiple sales orders or invoices created with multiple sales orders can be used to generate packing lists. Options needed to select box numbers, box size and items in each boxes with net and gross weights. Also each item in invoice should also show the relevant sales order reference for the client's ease. A sales order based grouping would be sufficient. I really wish to go for Zoho, but these things are really important for my business and waiting for you to implement these.
