Show the committed stock that has to be backordered
There's a gret option at Vendors for making purchase orders from low item stock. When it's clicked, then a list is shown with the items have to be ordered.
Unfortunately the list doesn't show how many items are committed beyond the actual physical stock, so ordering is always a guess.2 votes -
Merge purchase orders
Hi, is there any plan to make the purchase orders merged?
Because: what does a retailer do? Buys items in bulk from wholesalers, then sells them in small quantities. At the moment, when he got some orders from clients for the identical item, he has to create a purchase order for it by hand. ALternatively he can send the purchase orders to the wholesaler one-by-one, but I am sure that the wholesaler won't be happy with it.3 votes -
Item group invoice
Suppose I have shirt in 3 colors and multiple sizes available. While invoicing, I select a particular color and 2 size in it to be sold, invoice displays each item separately which creates a issue. It should display item group as a whole in a single line in invoice.

Enable Multiple Languages for Product Names
In the current global economy it is crucial to have the ability to specify the item name and description in various languages without needing to develop workarounds with custom fields and functions

Barcode Labels
Provision of editable barcode template that should have the fields for entering basic statutory metrological information (such as Address, website, customer care no, mfg date, expiry date etc) along with the barcode in chosen standard.
Should be option to print labels from a document such as invoice, purchase order in same quantities as on the document.
Option to print labels individually as well from a section in Item module to print labels, where we can enter SKU and no of copies to be printed.

Flatten top level composite items to view consolidated BOM components
There needs to be a way to 'flatten' a top level composite item that is made up of other composite items and regular items, that way you can see ALL components that make up the top level composite item and the consolidated total quantity of each part.
Example: you make a product called Composite Item Product, which contains multiple sub assemblies, Composite Sub 1, Sub 2, Sub 3, Sub 4. These Composite Subs have multiple parts to them, some of the parts may be shared ("Screw A" for example). Currently you have to manually look at each Composite Sub individually…

Unable to add attributes after creating an item group
Suppose a product has 5 sizes and i purchases only two sizes, two sizes has been added in item group. Next time i bought another size, i cannot add that to zoho group. Similarly, if a new color for product is manufactured, i cannot add the new color to existing group. Please find a solution to handle this.

bulk quantity adjustment of items
Bulk quantiy adjustment of Items. When we do a full inspection of the physical stock and some items are less or more, we should be able to adjust all the items together in one file as opposed to doing them individually.

Instant Print
I would like a button on the package, sales order and invoice forms that would print to the default print device using the default settings, with no further interaction.
Currently I have to select pdf/print, print, a preview opens, i have to select print, then the job is sent, and i have to pick close.
We print a packing list for every order, and a file copy of every invoice. It sure would be nice to reduce the number of steps to make this happen.

Sales Tax Adjustments
Please provide multiple sales tax adjustments for the sales tax payment (today, you offer only one adjustment amount per tax payment). This will allow us to enter multiple individual tax adjustments for each pay period. You should also allow us to post each individual tax adjustment to ANY account type. (not all (+) adjustments are expenses)!! Sometimes the adjustment is an offset (needing to go to the balance sheet, as an example). Of perhaps we want only ONE sales tax P&L account with adjustments to be both debited and credited in ONE P&L account. We need a bit more flexibility…

Provide for "just-in-time" inventory for Composite item bundles
A distinct shortcoming in the composite items feature of Inventory is that whilst it provides a degree of bill of material functionality it fails to handle the situation where you are selling composite items as finished products on customer orders ie. you don't carry any raw materials or finished products, everything is put together as and when you receive customer orders.
The Composite Items feature doesn't support "just in time" inventory in that you can't create the bundles to be sold via a Sales Order or Invoice while you don't have any stock. If Inventory allowed you to create such…

Add a field to auto-total packs of items
Many of our items are sold in packs. Example: Type A Brochure comes in packs of 50. Currently, the inventory displays the item (Type A Brochure), and count (8) and the unit count type (packs of 50). I would suggest an addition customizable field that auto-totals the count and unit type. So, it would say that we currently have 400 total Type A Brochures (8 packs of 50), and if we sold 2 packs and went back to the inventory, it should show that we now have 300 total (6 packs of 50).
