As an EU company, we need to charge VAT to all EU B2C clients at their local rate, as well as B2B clients in our home country. For other EU-B2B clients we need to collect their VAT number and the invoice should mention "VAT reverse charge".
This isn't currently supported in Zoho Subscriptions.
2020.... Guys really. For SaaS businesses in Europe this kills it.
Gathering information since October 16? Euro VEIS rules for VAT are fully implemented for UK users, so why not international - it is exactly the same process?
Subscription invoice needs to have the VAT component with reverse calculation. If the Plan is amounted 'X' including VAT, then the invoice should show breakup with Subscription amount + VAT % = Total 'X' including VAT,

I see in Zoho Subscription and Zoho books that EU VAT is now available, but is there a way for Zoho to automatically compute the VAT rate based on what the customer input as his billing address ?
The Zoho support sent us an email to our request last week to tell us that this feature will be available by 20th January at the latest! Looking forward to seeing
Must Have Feature for EU customers.
Yes and if they don't have a VAT number in their account, we have to collect the VAT of their own countries. (yes more than 20 different taxes to handle in the subscription process for EU Zoho customers!)
and for Books too....
not only for British!!
We are using this too, but the handling is very difficult!
