Scheduled Upgrades/Downgrades
It would be nice to be able to schedule an upgrade/downgrade for a specific date in the future. That way, when a customer requests a change for next month, or next week, we can schedule it to happen on that date, rather than remembering to do it manually on said date.
Rather shedule it on a particular day, we have started providing the option of
‘Updating the subscription changes at the End-of -the-term’

We still really need to be able to schedule a change in the future. For instance we have a lot of subscriptions where the customer is signing up for 12 months of service but pays monthly. Sometimes they want to cancel service 10 months in. We still want to collect the last two payments so we need to set the subscription to downgrade or cancel 2 months out, not on the subscription term. We also have subscriptions that sometimes work the other way where we have something that needs to be added 3 months into a recurring monthly subscription not at the term or prorated the day we make the change.

I would like to be able to schedule a change to occur on a future date. We often have a licensing change for a customer that we know will take place for an annual contract renewal (even though their subscription for billing is monthly based), and we need to schedule the billing change to happen in the future.

The End-of-term feature isn't very helpful. We need to be able to schedule a change or cancellation for subscription at any time. We have a customer base that is quickly growing and this is beginning to become a headache for us.

We need to be able to program a change of Plan (and possibly a change of Product too) for the end of the current billing period. For instance, if the customer wants to switch from a prepaid anual Plan to Monthly payment Plan, the rates change and we need to be able to do this BEFORE the next invoice is issued and charged. Thanks.

This is one of the major lacking features of Subscriptions. Many subscription changes and cancellations are set for a date in the future. Currently we have to now somehow remember to do this, but that is very problematic as Zoho Subscriptions still sends the invoice out before we can amend the subscription. An example:
Customer upgrades or changes their subscription effective end of this month as per our terms and conditions.
We cannot change this now because there is no way to do it.
We schedule a task for this to be done on the 1st instead as we cannot do it any date before or Zoho Subscriptions tries to pass credit notes
By the time the 1st has arrived, the customer has already received his/her invoice and is shouting at us that it's incorrect.
We canot even automate this process to happen at 23:59 on the last day of the month because Zoho still tries to pass credit notes for the day or send an invoice for the pro-rata difference for the month if an upgrade.This is not a minor feature. This is pretty pivotal!
