Hi! We are a SaaS company, but we do sell professional services with our products. We have been using Z-S since it came out and are big fan! We also use Zoho Books.

When we setup a new plan, it asks for a revenue account (GL account). What we need is a way for us to separate setup fees on plans into a different GL account than the recurring fees.

The reason for this is software companies generally separate their one-time services from the recurring ones, such as licensing from implementation fees.

If a separate revenue account can't be added for setup fees, maybe just a filter on a revenue report in Z-S? At least then, we could make a manual journal entry each month.

I mean, ideally, we would have the ability to book the services into a separate account, but I'll take the filter on the report too, if its too difficult.
