  1. payment term

    Payment "term" section to be enabled to the estimate section just like on Invoice section.
    It is important for me and my client as I can show them how the term is going to be.

    Thank you for posting on our feedback forum.

    Payment terms are typically used to set a due date to an invoice and collect payments within that date. Since the clients cannot make payments for estimates, neither the “due date” nor the “payment term” would come into the picture.

    As far as estimates are concerned, it’s a deal you offer which they can accept/decline. To set a date before which you would like them to accept/decline, you can make use of the “Expiry date” field in the estimate.

  2. Administrative Charges %

    in our industry we charge administrative charges of 10% from total estimate or invoice, this cannot be applied using zoho similar to the HST and Tax charges from the total invoice/estimate

  3. Modify the clone function

    I would like to have the clone function modified in an invoice or estimate. When I clone a line everything works fine until I want to change the value in a custom field, the value will also be changed in the previous row as if the clone was bound.

    We would like to clarify that changing the value of a custom field in a cloned invoice will not make any changes to the original one.

    Having said that, it would be easier for us to resolve the problem you are facing if you could drop an email to support[at]zohoinvoice[dot]com

  4. Search functionality for the iOS and Android Apps.

    For invoices and estimates equally. We Regularly estimate multiple jobs to the same client. The iOS app has no search feature that we have been able to find and does not display enough information in the estimates list, to distinguish easily between estimates.This means we must remember estimate numbers, or open each estimate one after another to remember what it was for. Tedious and slow, defeating the point of an app on the go. Search features ARE available in a web browser, but why should app users work without such a massive time saving feature?

    We certainly agree that the mobile apps should support the critical functionalities like the search option. The iOS app of Zoho Invoice indeed has a search option for each section, which you can make use of.

  5. Template

    It would be nice to be able to select a template that prefills products onto the estimate. So if bundle 1 always has items x y and z my agents dont have to fill out it every time.

  6. Designate specific name that appears on estimates (or invoices)

    I often send estimates to three/four people, but one is the designated "contact person," and therefore the person who should appear on the Estimate/Invoice. I can email it to multiple people, but I want to be able to designate one person as the main contact through the check boxes at the bottom of an Invoice/Estimate draft.

  7. Make placeholders as available in footers available for all other fields in Estimates / Invoices / Credit Notes

    Would be great to have placeholders available for all other fields in Estimates / Invoices / Credit Notes. We are trying to build a confirmation stub, something like "I confirm estimate [placeholder for estimate number], signed by [placeholder for contact name].

  9. ITEMS multi-currency, and automatic exchange rates to customer currency

    All items in Zoho Invoice must be currently priced in base currency only, and doesn't allow to involve more than one currency within a single estimate (Euro, an example)

    For all our estimates we use the same customer currency (Euro).

    Is it possible for ITEMS to add another currency (USD?) with automatic update of exchange rates to customer currency (Euro).

    As result we'll be able to use a few items in $ and Euro within a single estimate.

  11. Price Range Option

    Need to have the option to type in a price range in the "price" section.
    Some projects have a range of pricing based on how much work is done (example: $100 - $500).

  12. Add inventory to Estimates

    When building an Estimate, it would be helpful to be able to view the amount on hand, that way the salesperson knows how much of an item they can offer

  13. Font Features for Estimates and Invoices

    When I build an estimate with many categories and line items, sometimes I'd like to Bold a heading and or make a line item Red or something important I'd like to underline.
    I've brought this up before, and I was told to just make a custom template but that's not convenient at all. Need a small box off to the side where I can make these little changes quickly.

    We deal with Multiple brands and many items under each brand having a sales mgr for diff brands. I want to have provision by which I can restrict or provide permissions to individuals for chosen brands' Estimate preparation / invoices.

  16. Convert multiple estimates into a single invoice with each estimate as a line in the invoice

    My clients want to have all of the work I do for them regrouped in a single invoice. I would like to be able to convert several estimates into one invoice.

  17. Opciones de seguimiento en presupuestos para cerrar ventas

    Los presupuestos deberían tener mas opciones de seguimiento, con el objetivo de ayuda a cerrar la venta.

    Por ejemplo, incluir:
    - Opción de enviar recordatorios a los clientes y que puedan dar feedback.
    - Opción para agendar una fecha y hora de seguimiento, y que esta se envíe en forma automática por correo al vendedor.

  18. Group Header

    We would like to be able to group articles under a common header. For example, in the same estimate, I want to sell articles regarding the "sound" and the "light"
    We would be able to have a "Sound" section with all the articles and the option to get a subtotal for this.

  19. Add "Completed" Status for Estimates

    Right now Estimates can only be "Sent", "Accepted", or "Declined". I do not bill by the individual estimate so converting to an invoice is not an option. I need to ability to know when a particular estimate has been completed so I can recognize that it is not an active job.

  20. Choose the items of a price list

    When we create a price list for a client it would be useful to have the possibility to choose the items we want to show to him, instead now we are bound to show the whole price list with all the items.
    Adding to this, when I send a list items I intend the client can choose from different items so it would be useful if we could not show the total because it can be confusing for the client.
