  1. Recurring Estimates

    Add the capability to have recurring estimates, as many clients need to add PO numbers and sign off before invoicing, and this needs to happen prior to invoice.

  3. Hide Individual Line Item Costs But Still Show Total Cost

    I would like to see the ability to hide individual line item costs while still showing the total price. I want my customers to see a lump sum price for all items on estimate while having the ability to hide each individual items cost.

    Vote for this idea!!! This needs to be implemented.

    Hi there,

    Thank you for posting on our feedback forum.

    In the pre-defined templates of Zoho Invoice, hiding the “Amount” column (which the final amount of a line item) would hide the entire total section too.

    But, we do have a workaround (custom HTML templates) for this. Please reach out to support[at]zohoinvoice[dot]com to know more about this.

  4. Include on the mobile application for estimates and invoice photo of the work to be done automatically attached to the estimate/invoice.

    The idea is when we are on the field doing and inspection and estimate of the work, have photos from the mobile or table integrated on the form (estimates and invoice). We know that you can attached photos but the idea is integrated in the form immediately.

  5. Order confirmation option (created from estimate)

    It would be nice to have option to create order confirmation document from estimate to be able to send it to the customer. (optionally a column can be adde i.e. expected delivery time for each item)

    Thank you for posting on our feedback forum.

    In Zoho Invoice, once a client accepts an estimate, it can be converted only to invoices. However, in Zoho Books, you can create “sales orders”. So, estimates can be converted to sales orders, which can then be converted to invoices.

    If you already have a Zoho Invoice organization, you can easily upgrade it to Books using the steps in this link:

  6. Transfer Tasks from Estimates to Invoices/Timesheets

    I am a management consultant who uses the Estimate feature to send proposals to clients, detailing the scope definition and tasks for their approval. Once they approve an Estimate, I should be able to import it directly into Timehseet Projects with all of the Tasks so I can charge time against the Tasks as proposed. Better integration with Zoho Projects (i.e. importing project tasks into Timesheets and Invoices) would be even better, but within Invoice, the Estimate should be transferred to the Timesheet so an invoice can be generated each month with whatever tasks have billable time charged against them.

    Generate a percentage of estimate status. ie. 75% invoiced

  9. Add the capabilities to insert "options" in the estimates…

    Add the capabilities to insert "options" in the estimates… for exemple : I sell plate (total of 20$), in option you can propose spoons for 10$ (it's optional)

  10. Terms & Conditions per template

    We have different payment terms for different estimates as we sell two different services with different payment terms. This means that we need to manually paste the terms on each estimate to make sure it reflects the right service. The option of having the Terms & Conditions based on template would therefore solve this problem. Should be that hard to fix.

  11. payment term

    Payment "term" section to be enabled to the estimate section just like on Invoice section.
    It is important for me and my client as I can show them how the term is going to be.

    Thank you for posting on our feedback forum.

    Payment terms are typically used to set a due date to an invoice and collect payments within that date. Since the clients cannot make payments for estimates, neither the “due date” nor the “payment term” would come into the picture.

    As far as estimates are concerned, it’s a deal you offer which they can accept/decline. To set a date before which you would like them to accept/decline, you can make use of the “Expiry date” field in the estimate.

  12. Custom Charges Field for Invoices/Estimates

    I need to add custom charges in invoices like Insurance charge, legal charge, etc. There are more 5 charges. Currently I can only add two charges Shipping Charge and One Custom.

    Since the nature of these charges are business-specific, it would not be available by default in Zoho Invoice. A workaround for this would be to add these charges as line items in the invoice.

  14. Statements of estimate customer wise

    How many estimate sended to a customer in a year or a month or custom time frame.

    It is helpful in checking which customer is selling which goods
    I am in jewellery we issues lots of estimates

  15. Administrative Charges %

    in our industry we charge administrative charges of 10% from total estimate or invoice, this cannot be applied using zoho similar to the HST and Tax charges from the total invoice/estimate

  16. Modify the clone function

    I would like to have the clone function modified in an invoice or estimate. When I clone a line everything works fine until I want to change the value in a custom field, the value will also be changed in the previous row as if the clone was bound.

    We would like to clarify that changing the value of a custom field in a cloned invoice will not make any changes to the original one.

    Having said that, it would be easier for us to resolve the problem you are facing if you could drop an email to support[at]zohoinvoice[dot]com

  17. Search functionality for the iOS and Android Apps.

    For invoices and estimates equally. We Regularly estimate multiple jobs to the same client. The iOS app has no search feature that we have been able to find and does not display enough information in the estimates list, to distinguish easily between estimates.This means we must remember estimate numbers, or open each estimate one after another to remember what it was for. Tedious and slow, defeating the point of an app on the go. Search features ARE available in a web browser, but why should app users work without such a massive time saving feature?

    We certainly agree that the mobile apps should support the critical functionalities like the search option. The iOS app of Zoho Invoice indeed has a search option for each section, which you can make use of.

  18. Designate specific name that appears on estimates (or invoices)

    I often send estimates to three/four people, but one is the designated "contact person," and therefore the person who should appear on the Estimate/Invoice. I can email it to multiple people, but I want to be able to designate one person as the main contact through the check boxes at the bottom of an Invoice/Estimate draft.

  19. Make placeholders as available in footers available for all other fields in Estimates / Invoices / Credit Notes

    Would be great to have placeholders available for all other fields in Estimates / Invoices / Credit Notes. We are trying to build a confirmation stub, something like "I confirm estimate [placeholder for estimate number], signed by [placeholder for contact name].
