  1. Credit card rejections - send e-mail to administrator

    Right now credit card rejections are ONLY sent to the end user(s) whose card has been rejected. Ideally the administrator (or an identified user) should also receive a rejection notice via e-mail when credit cards are rejected along with the reason code. Really all you need to do is CC the client rejection e-mail to the administrator.

  2. item description

    When looking at items, it only shows description/ SKU, but not both. Ideally I should have a field chooser, where I can choose which fields I need displayed to make my work easier. Right now I work with SKU, but am unable to see the description together. Please help.

  4. Include invoices and receipts in backup

    although the backup function provides some usable output there are no invoices included in the zip file.

    It would be very relaxing to take a backup and also get:
    => all invoices as PDF
    => all uploaded receipts for expenses, bills

    This would reduce the overhead of saving everything twice.

  5. Correct handling of sales TAX for US customers

    In the USA, (California for sure), we are required to calculate and report all sales tax collected and paid. As a vendor with a resale license, I can choose to pay tax at purchase, or defer and not pay tax at purchase if the item is to be re-sold. When I sell a product, I am required by law to collect sales and use tax for the jurisdiction in which the item is sold/used.

  6. There should be option to enter multiple units for a single item. Alternate unit like 1 box = 4 Pcs.

    my items come in a box pack and each boxes contain certain numbers. So sometimes a customer buys a box and sometimes loose pieces.

    I use busy for my billing and inventory and it has options to add certain quantity as primary units and then the same as alternate units.

  8. Combine Retainer Invoices and Traditional Invoices

    When I look at outstanding invoices I would like to see retainer invoices in the same place so I can see everything that is overdue in one place. Also, when receiving payments I would like to be able to apply the payment to an invoice or a retainer invoice or both. If a client writes us one check for three separate retainer invoices I have no way to apply it to all three invoices. It would make sense to include outstanding retainer invoices as an option when choosing "Payments Received". Today I received one check and am going to have…

  9. Enable billing method to be based on project days, not just hours

  10. you to make it easier to paste numbers.

    Hi there,

    I do a lot of copy/pasting and every time i do it, i have to clean up the number to remove any commas and dollar signs etc, from my other software. This is very inconvenient.

    This is what happens:
    When i paste $2,334.00, ZOHO books does not recognize it as a legitimate number.

    Are you able to add this feature? I used QBO a few times and there you can paste anything and it will recognize it.

  11. TAGS report

    • hello it would be great to generate a TAGS report so we can see all entries associated with a TAG.

    for example we may sales and POs associated with a tag- currently we can't see the P&L report as they are orders and not invoices and bills.

  12. Export Bank Statement

    Hello,
    Thanks for the reply, but it seems that your development team does not want to add this resource can consult the attachment.
    So I think this feature is very simple is the same that we have in all modules the option to export. Now on a bank would not be different because we need to said so that the treasury can have the best control because the would not be accounting would not know if you can understand this very simple.

  13. Telr

    We are based in the UAE with very few payment gateway support. Paypal is there, but it does not support USD and Zoho does not allow a conversion to USD automatically to AED

    So my request is to integrate Telr as a payment gateway

    Would it be possible?

  14. Direct Debit Australia

    In Australia businesses have the ability to Direct Debit their clients accounts for recurring invoices for services such as membership or subscriptions. To do this they need to upload the Direct Debit information (BSB and Account numbers of their clients accounts to be debited, amount and account name) via an ABA file. Currently ZOHO CRM and ZOHO Books doesn't have this ability. Can you please add additional fields into ZOHO Books so this information can be collected and exported as an ABA File or partner with another company who can provide an app that integrates with ZOHO so this information…

  15. item group under item group

    I should be able to create nested item groups.

    Currently it allows me to create only one level of grouping, i.e. create a group and bunch multiple items under it.

    What we need is that I should be able to create a group, then create multiple groups under that group and so on. This will further improve our inventory management.

  16. Estimates status

    Would be nice to have the option for custom status on quotes so we can set automate emails based on the status of the quote.

    At least have one more option then just Expected or Declined.

    What we are looking for is the option for indecision making so we can send customer automated email reminders based on the status of the quote/estimate.

  17. Invoices written off should show as "Written Off" not "Paid"

    Currently, when an invoice is written off, its status shows as "Paid". This is clearly not the case and will cause confusion when staff are chasing debts from returning customers. Please change the process so that when an invoice is fully or partially written off, the status show as "Written Off" or similar.

  18. Mark up when creating Estimates

    Add a mark up option when creating Estimates for each item. It should be entered by the user as a percentage value. The total cost of the item should be automatically updated based on the mark up value. It should be visible only to internal users and not appear in the final estimate.

  20. optional items in ESTIMATE

    Include possibility to add "optional" items in ESTIMATE... where the price can be shown (rate), with Qty. entered as zero.

    At the moment, as per help center, it is only possible to zero the optional items' value... which to the customer can mean items are also included.
