  1. Cashflow forecasting Reports

    Is it possible to add some forecasting reports so we can get a picture of future months & years based on existing data within Zoho Books?

    There would be the option to select which data such as recurring Invoices or Expenses or budgets are included in the Cashflow forecast (or Projection) report?

    I'm new to using Zoho books but would like accounting software which allows a future look at the business.

  2. Budget , Tag wise budgeting , Budget Actual Vs Variance in P&L Format

    Budget , Tag wise budgeting , Budget Actual Vs Variance in P&L Format.Now a days most of the companies maintain Division/Segment wise accounting (IFRS8) .hence the following are required.
    1.segment wise Budgeting
    2.Segment wise P&L,
    3.Segment wise Balance sheet
    4.Segment wise Cash flow
    5.Segment wise Budget Variance report in P&L Format

    1. Inter segment Sales /Purchases (sales between divisions within an organisation)

    7.More advanced: Budgeting in Multi Currency .Budget Variance due to Exchange rate variance

    The Budgeting feature is live now. You can plan for the upcoming financial periods by creating budgets and evaluate your business performance.

    The requirements mentioned in the points 1 to 6 can be achieved using Reporting Tags. As of now we aren’t working on budgeting in multi currency.

  3. Sales by Customer Report to Identify the profit margins

    Under Reports in Zoho Books-Sales by Customer, Currently it shows sales and sales with tax. We would like to have additional columns such as Income and Expense to identify the profit margins. As it shows a individual customer overview levels. This will help us identify profits from a particular customer and invoice.

  4. Customize Dashboard...

    It would be Great if we could remove or rearrange blocks. I would prefer to move the CashFlow chart down below a couple other rows or possibly turn it off.

  5. Save report customizations

    Zoho Books should be able to save report customizations. E.g., when I run Receivables Aged Summary, I ALWAYS want it aged by Invoice Date (not the default of Due Date), and when I run Journal Report, I ALWAYS want it to include reporting tags. It's crazy that I have to keep changing these customizations every time I run a report.

  6. Make reporting tags less tedious

    As brilliant as I find the reporting tags feature, its implementation is rather odd. Instead of being limited to associating tags for each line in an invoice or purchase bill, why not also have the option to associate the whole invoice or purchase bill with a reporting tag?

    I'm trying to use reporting tags to generate profit and loss statement per project. All I have to do is create a tag for that project and associate it with purchases and sales for that project. Unfortunately, with the current implementation that's a tedious process.

  8. reconciliation

    Bank Reconciliation Report once the account is reconciled to show uncleared deposits and expenses so that balance can be matched to balance sheet for the corresponding date.

  10. include a VAT return report for non UK based business (i.e Ireland)

    VAT reporting is slightly different in Ireland from the Uk, so I wonder is it possible to produce an Irish VAT report to cover Bi monthly vat returns. if not could you at least produce a total vat value report for sales and purchases separately. FYI a full VAT report included reverse charges for inter EU purchases.

  12. Reports should be displayed in table / columns with total.

    Currently, if one selects multiple months / tags for a report say P&L, the report data is displayed as just one column i.e. total.

    All such reports should be displayed as a table i.e. a period report for Apr-Mar should be presented as a table of Total-Apr-May-......-Feb-Mar.

    Similarly for tags, the report for multiple tags should be Total-Tag1-Tag2-Tag-3.....

    The work around is very inefficient and time consuming, to generate separate report for each month/tag and export it to excel.

    A simple modification to report module would be highly appreciated.

    Provide the ability to change the Income and Expense chart in the Dashboard to display the numbers for multiple years (e.g. 2016 and 2017) side by side.

    Sales Items by Sales Person

    To calculate proper commissions, I need to run a sales report by sales person. The one you have now gives me a summary of totals. If I drill down I get a list of invoices. That does me no good. I need the Sales Item report but must be able to filter it by sales person.

    I can't just pay commission on the report total as it includes sales tax and shipping amounts. We don't pay commissions on those.

  16. add a feature that allows for bulk tagging of transactions of any type with reporting tags.

    Currently, tags can only be added one transaction at a time unless the transactions are added through an import file. This is extremely cumbersome. There should be a way to assign reporting tags to multiple transactions of any kind in the same screen at the same time (in a checkbox format for example). Allowing tags to be assigned based on rules would be another great way to make use of the reporting tag feature.

  18. Project/Timesheet Report Customization

    An integrated report showing both project and timesheet information to include individual timesheet log entries, total time logged, budgeted hours, percent complete, number of days active since first log entry. This should allow grouping by project and/or staff.

  19. Unearned Revenue

    My issue here is reporting—my Balance Sheet would not show Accounts Receivables balance correctly, and My Ageing Summary Report balances are also wrong since it will omit any unmatched Customer Payments which are shown under Unearned Revenue account in Current Liabilities.

    For Ageing Summary it becomes difficult. For example, an instant where I have so many customers and a number of them have unmatched credits means I will be showing unreal outstanding balances for customers.

    Suggestion:
    1. If the Ageing Report would have an option to include the unmatched payments, or;
