Commission Reports By Salesperson by Gross Profit
I need to run a report based on gross profit by job and by salesperson. Running a commission report for each sales person based on an individual commission rate is needed for us to make a full switch from QuickBooks. This is very important to us, please help!

We calculate sales commission based on sales invoice that have been paid. Would really appreciate if you can create 'Payment Received by Sales Person' report -- similar to 'Sales by Sales Person' report.

Report customization
I can customize a search screen, but cannot print or export it. Adding all the filters now available for a search to the report dialog will enable searching and printing or exporting crucial reports.

In the Canadian version add the tax report for the Province of Quebec (QST).

Customisable Tax Reporting
As it will surely take a long time to offer region-specific Zoho books, especially in terms of tax/VAT compliance... Can you at least offer more comprehensive tax reporting, where we can specify what tax and transaction types we would like to see in ONE report that can then be exported easily and transferred to our relevant tax documentation?

Enable the direct lodgement of Business Activity Statements from Zoho Books to the ATO (as is common in other systems such as Zero etc).

Have budgets for financial performance in Zoho to enable us to compare the same the acutals and also have grouping facility in the p&l
We would like to have budgeting facility in Zoho which enables us to compare the actual financial performance against the budgets which enables us to arrive at the variances and take business actions on it accordingly. Also, we would like to have a grouping facility on the on the Profit and loss account which would enable us to group the expenses into 1.marketting 2.HR 3. IT & R&D 4. G&A etc. Please take action on this asap as these facilities are already available with your competitors like Xero and quickbooks. Its high time yall catch up with them.

Create sales report by person that shows Invoice date and Payment date
We pay commissions on payments received not sales made. It would behelpful if that the same report includes the payment mode.

Custom Dates on Dashboard Charts
The Dashboard charts are awesome. They're beautiful and they let me see exactly how I did compared to... 12 months ago. And no further. I'm a visual person and I need these beautiful charts to reflect the growth of my business over the past four years, or fourteen if I wanted. I want to see a chart that REALLY shows how my hard work has paid off.

Tax Summary report needs to be split between Sales and Purchases
The way that the "Tax Summary" report works is that is combines the sales and purchases on each tax code.
This is wrong.

Budget vs actual
Budget vs Actual Report - allow the date range to be customized. Ex: I'd like to see this report from 1/1 - 9/30. The native report with Monthly periods shows expenses for 12 months, and the revenue has 9 months. This does not help me know where I stand through the end of Q3 in profit and loss, as the additional Q4 of budgeted expenses just shows a straight loss.

ODBC Data Connectivity
Currently I run my reports and manipulate all the data manually. It would be much easier to have ODBC connectivity to Zoho Books so all my charts can be updated automatically.

Invoice Detail Report.
A new Report needs for a given period lists invoice details such as Invoice number, item description, Qty and Unit Price. Current Invoice Detail report only includes Invoice summary - but not the deail.

create a detailed income and expense report per customer that shows each expense transaction and each payment transaction by customer name
The system should have an option to be able to create a transaction detailed report that shows all income and expense activity on each customer account. It should have a balance sheet at the bottom showing a total of the total income received and the total expenses paid on each customer account showing the bottom line total profit or loss for that account.

Easy-fix Reports: Simply add Date Customization a "Project Details" as already in "Timesheet Details"
We need to generate (for clients and ourselves) an overview of the Timesheet details for a certain project and period.
However, under "Reports" / "Projects & Timesheets" / "Project Details" the "Customize Report" Setting as in the next menu below ("Timesheet Details") is missing.
It is currently not possible to generate a report based on projects just for one month. It currently simply states it for the whole lifetime! This just doen't make sense an is certainly very easy to fix.
Just please please please add the "Customize Report" Setting on top also to "Project Details" so one can change…
