Add Labels to invoices / Sales Order to enable us to clone & Track easily
if some form of label can be added to an invoice / Sales Order type it would be easier to clone the same and also search for same when you have 1 customer ordering too many items.

Create option to mention or categorise the payment terms in 2-3 portions. (50%,20%,30%)
This is common practice in Dubai that clients pay the dues in 2 to 3 parts according to agreed payment terms e.g.(50% advance, 20 due on delivery, 30% due on completion)
But ZOHO provides only one option to mention the due date. It effects receivables ageing reports. We can not see which part of amount is due or not due or over due.
Even if we create additional field on invoice for payment terms that does not effect the reporting.

Plural form for item units
It would be very helpful to save an item unit with its singular and plural form.
For example:
Item unit is "piece":If we quote for 1 piece, invoice/estimate shows "1 piece".
If we quote for 2 and more pieces, invoice/estimate shows "2 piece".It should change automatically to the saved plural form and mention " 2 pieces". Looks more professionell to clients.

Have support for Apple Pay with Stripe
We've been receiving more and more requests from customers to be able to pay invoices with Apple Pay from their phones. Since Stripe has supported this for a while already and it makes it very simple and fast for customers to make payments I think it should be a feature available to utilize on Zoho.

PDF from email template
Ability to download an email template as PDF. It would be great to have the option to send the template as an email or download as it as PDF from the CRM and Books, that way it is very ease to create contracts with customized information by clients and be able to download it and send it through Sign.

Receiving requirement from customer
Hi sir/madam,
Iam a zoho books customer currently in my trial period.
Iam a business owner of a trade agency.
I prefer zoho books to have an ease of access to the accounts and automate the existing manual process.Iam happy with the features provided but the difficulties we face in getting the customers requirements still exists.
Receiving an order/requirement from my customer is the first step in the trade process. Even after i opted for zoho books my customers has to call me to place an order. The customers may choose to call after business hours or in lunch…1 vote -
Allow for overpayment on an invoice ... have an open credit should the client pay more than the original invoice amount.

Make the template creator more like the template creator in Zoho CRM
The template creator in Zoho CRM (Quote, Sales Order, Invoice) is much more flexible than what is presented in Zoho Books. Use the Zoho CRM template creator tool in Zoho Books so there would be more synergy between the two product modules. You guys really have something here with all the modules, but it seems that each team (responsible for their modules) is having to recreate the wheel which seems redundant. Customizable Dashboard
Please make the dashboard customizable.
I should be able to create a report, and be able to throw it on to the dashboard for me to see as soon as I enter Books.The variable fields should be more easy to choose. E.g. Date Range, Year range.. Graphs that allow Year-on-Year / Month-to-month comparisons between multiple years

create retainer invoice from sales order
There needs to be a way to show the trail Estimate (Retainer Invoice) to Sales Order (showing retainer payment) to Invoice.
Currently, you can set auto accept to invoice, but not sales order and there needs to be a way to show the retainer payment on the sales order.

Items - Estimates History
In every item page there are tabs of Overview, Purchases and History. It is very important to include Estimates to know how much items where quoted in the past and to whom. It will help for Price Reports.Thanks.

Chart of Account numbers
Hi
My accountant and I are Zoho Partners for Australia we have an important feature that we would love to see implemented. Current the chart of accounts show in the trial balance report shows like this:
Office Expenses ( 6-1070 ) in one line.
Accountants here use account number like 6-1070 to short accounts and to search for accounts. Would be great if the chart of account number can be in a different column on reports so that it can be used to filter like in the chart of accounts list.0 votes -
