Internal projects
Ability to create and budget for a project that is not attached to a specific customer, i.e redesigning our own website.
We would still like to track expenses and hours spent even though it will never be billed to a customer.

Select project and time period to export timesheet, not all. When we send invoice to client we are usually asked to provide detail timesheet for the billed period.

have the ability to close project tasks
It would be really helpful to be able to make project tasks closed so time can no longer be booked to parts of a project that have been completed.
If this was a tick box then if a task was ticked it could be unavailable in the time entry.1 vote -
Option to round up project time to the hour
Currently project times can only be rounded up to 30 minutes. Requesting that the option to round up to the hour.

Adding reporting tags to projects
I know you can associate reporting tags to contact and items, but when you use projects, you may have multiple projects for a client, it would be helpfull to be able to add tags in the project so all transactions related to the project can be posted to the selected tags

Create a ZenDesk App specifically for logging time against projects
I would really like a ZenDesk app that would have two functions.
It would lookup the customer by matching the ZenDesk "organization" name to the customer company name.
It would then filter to show projects associated with that customer. From there someone could easily select the correct project and task and then if it filled in the ticket ID and subject from the ZenDesk ticket into the notes field for the time entry on the project that would make logging time through ZenDesk super easy.

- Add username to the timesheet entries list in client portal. 2. Allow filter by Date Ranges, Tasks, Users 3. Add Sort options 4. Allow for export / print.

Provide option to view unbilled hours in terms of total $ in the project summary on the dashboard
In the Projects section of the Dashboard, I can view how many hours are currently unbilled, but as different projects (and tasks) often have different hourly rates, it would be helpful to me to be able to see the total unbilled $ associated with these projects (and not just the # unbilled hours). This would help me have a sense of what to expect cash flow wise with my next set up of invoices and not have to click into each project and then tally them up to do so!

Addition of units measurements for payments in projects and keeping a track
In the project section, can payment terms not be in units of Kgs of job done, as some contracts might be paid in kgs of items prepared for the client. it could spill over to estimates too.

I would like to see the Client as the first option in Log Time screen.
If I have the Project name "support" for multiple clients I cannot tell the difference in the Log Time Screen. It would be helpful to select the client and then the project rather than starting with the project.

Allow automations from and to projects modules
I would like to create workflows and automations from the projects module, either in books or using flow, but I cannot select the projects module anywhere. Something is already in place as you can create a project from an estimate, but I cannot link the different fields either.

Allow projects to be set up as fixed fee but invoice can show tasks and cost per task instead of only by hours and hourly rate
Most of my projects are fixed fee by task, but I still track the hours by task. I want to show each of the tasks as a line item on the invoice but I want to bill by fixed fee and not by the hours spent. The hours spent are only for my internal information.

Be able to create a project based on a fixed price, but then later add "extras" based on an hourly rate.

Ability to enter start date and end date by task
We want custom field for each task . It is not possible to define total cost per task. Per task bill is based on time spent. Provision is required for lump sum per task

Work Order
I would like to be able to create a Work Order from the Sales Order without taking items away from the Sales Order.
A Work Order is what I issue to the employees who will perform the work in the field. I need items and quantities to come from the Sales Order and not show the monetary value.

Fix search function in card view
I cannot search for active projects in card view -- if I am in the Active view and run a search while looking at the project cards, it automatically changes to all and includes inactive searches in the results.

Add goods sold to timesheet
It would be nice to be able to add goods sold like you can add expenses to timesheets. Items that are sold are different then expenses because goods sold will have a markups and ossible sale tax were as expenses do not. Right now if I sell something to my customer through out the month I have to remember to add the item to the invoice after I great it through timesheet at the end of the month. It would also be nice to setup task as tax exempt. Labor doesn't get sales tax add to it but by default…

Auto create projects based on products in accepted estimates,invoices, and sales receipts. Templates for projects will already be created in ZP, in invoices and estimates, give option to create projects when invoice is paid or when it is created and estimates when it is accepted or when invoice is issued or when invoice is paid
