Project users should be restricted from marking a project as Active/Inactive
After a project is marked as Inactive, only the admin shoul be allowed to mark it as active if necessary.

I need to be able to specify the number of hours included, which will be deducted from the total number of hours worked when the invoice is issued.

Bill all time on all projects
Instead of entering every project and billing i want to enter a date through (e.g. 11/30/2023) and have all projects invoiced with all work through that date.

Tag unbilled timesheets to bulk imported invoices
I imported the invoices of all the projects easily through bulk import, with actual hours worked in the quantity tab, but the timesheets are still tagged as unbilled... If I want to manually mark as unbilled, then under the tag of invoiced, it is shown as manually invoiced instead of the invoice number

Add indication in the Zoho browser tab when timer is active
It's easy to forget to stop the timer after you complete a task. This makes it difficult to accurately bill clients for time spent. Anything that can help prevent this would be useful. My idea is to have some kind of indicator in the browser tab that the timer is running (similar to the audio indicator when a website has audio). This would really help!

Every month I create invoices from timesheets, I waste a lot of time adding VAT to each line individually - this should be an auto function when setting up a project, it would save hours.

Project Cost/Revenue Budget = Accepted Estimates/Sales Order Values
Please enable a feature where the Project Cost and Revenue Budget is automatically calculated based on the value of accepted estimates or sales orders.
Currently for each variation cost we receive, we have to manually update the Project Cost. Comparing the project cost, to the total billed amount is the only way of ensuring the project has been invoiced in full and this requires a lot of manual work for something that could be automated.

Bills migration from one project to another
Hi,
I would like to add a new feature which is very basic and unfortunately its not there.
I added huge number of bills in wrong project and now to make corrections I need to delete them all and then re bill in the correct project. While it can be easily done with a move option across multiple projects.
I tried bulk update bills and changed the project name but in reporting it failed to make the move of bills properly.

Project Profitability should be part of Standard version
I feel Project Profitability module which is currently part of the Professional version should be part of the Standard version. For small companies like mine Standard is sufficient, just need the Project Profitability since we are a project based company & need to know costing & profits of a particular project. Gross Profit = Sales Invoice minus Purchase Bills. Dont want to spend on Professional only for this.

Effective from Rate Per Hour in projects
I have an ongoing project billed by the hour, everything is perfect.
This month I negotiated new rates for a couple of assigned users to this project. So I edited the project, updated the Rate Per Hour and all the historical money calculation in the project was updated with the new rate which is wrong, so all numbers are wrong.
Cost per hour have an Effective From option that avoids this scenario, I don't see why we don't have it in Rate Per Hour, unless there is another way to handle this that I couldn't find

Allow a new billing method "Based on Task Cost", for when each task has a flat fee cost.
Included a new Billing method for when each task has a flat fee cost associated to it: "Based on Task Cost".
I have projects where each task has a fixed flat fee, so I can´t use Staff Hours or Tasks hour and is not a Project Flat Fee neither.

Permit client based time entries
Timesheet entries should be permitted according to clients and/or projects rather than according to projects only. Currently, time keepers are unable to select the relevant client and project of that client. They can only see the project name. Some clients have the same project names and it causes confusion for time keeping staff.

Provide a field for POs in Project setup
Add tracking info to the Projects setup.
Provide a field to for a PO# when creating a new Project. The Invoice template should retrieve the field name and value when we're billing for the project. The Project list/report should also display the PO.
A field for a Job Number or Docket would also help.Anyone working freelance as a copywriter, graphic designer, web developer, etc, would be accustomed to using these features for timesheets and for billing.
