  1. Add Item Grouping

    1) The ability to create sub-items so that I can have item groupings 2) The ability to sort the item page by user created fields such as grouping, etc.

  2. Plural form for item units

    It would be very helpful to save an item unit with its singular and plural form.
    For example:
    Item unit is "piece":

    If we quote for 1 piece, invoice/estimate shows "1 piece".
    If we quote for 2 and more pieces, invoice/estimate shows "2 piece".

    It should change automatically to the saved plural form and mention " 2 pieces". Looks more professionell to clients.

  4. Items - Estimates History

    In every item page there are tabs of Overview, Purchases and History. It is very important to include Estimates to know how much items where quoted in the past and to whom. It will help for Price Reports.Thanks.

  6. Associating a default template for a Item

    For a set of line item by default I want to use spreadsheet template and for another set of line item i want to use spreadsheet plus template. Can we associate default template to line item.

    Eg.
    Spreadsheet Plus - Have around 40 Items (Paper Products).
    Spreadsheet Plus - Only One Line Item Wood Pellet.

    When in the invoice Wood Pellet item is there, on saving by default spreadsheet plus template is the format.
    When the invoice has the remaining 40 products, the format should be spreadsheet.

  9. Group Products by Product Category in Zoho CRM - Quotes

    For the very long list of Products in CRM Quotes, it is very hard to view them. So the should be grouped by Product Category.

  10. items sales history

    Ability to view Item history for SALES as well as PURCHASES when viewing any individual item. It's great to see the purchases history but SERIOUSLY lacking that you can't see a SALES history of various items.

  13. ORDER STATUS BY ITEM

    An order view based on status by item would be great. When you view the transaction section of an item it'll show open/closed for each order, but the order could be open due to a different item. The same problem applies when doing an advanced search by product and status.

  14. Add Total count to custom search results.

    As a user I want to be able quickly count results when I performed Advanced search.

  18. Complex UOM

    Add a complex units of measurement creation, like A case of 60 packets.
    it would help in selling sealed cases as one quantity, by not checking how many packets in the case everytime. I have been transferring packets from cases to issue free pieces because of lack of this option.

  19. Master UNIT

    One thing that makes zoho books complicated for many industries (like textile, wood, interior, manufacturing etc) is no option of master unit. it can be similar to composite items. zoho team please work on it. below are show examples.

    1. 1 Sheet of plywood is 2.44 X 1.22.
    2. 1 Roll of Wire is 100 Meters
    3. 1 Bundle of Plastic goods contail 80 Dozen pieces

    in this scenario No need to have complicated unit conversions. Just allow users to define what is "Unit" and What is "Master Unit" of the same.
