Listing Sales Record under each contact
Under each contact, there is a tab of Sales, where it shows the invoice/ sales order/ expense record of each customer. However, if you want to know what is inside the invoice, you have to click into it individually. Is there an option to reveal all items purchased in one list in chronological order?

assign sales person to customer account
I would request that sales persons be selected/assigned per customer and not at the time of creating an invoice.
Some of the reasons would include:
- credit sales to one customer done by several sales reps
- companies structure usually assign sales reps to customers
- difficult to compute commission and analyze outstanding amounts if sales reps are captured per invoice
- reporting becomes difficult to analyze, for example, aging report should show balances per sales person (this helps it calculating commissions).12 votes -
Move customer data format (address, custom fields, etc) in the customer section.
Customer data format should be done in the customer section PER customer, not in the global preferences where it applies to ALL customers.
We have different customers in different countries, each with specific customer data.
Zoho assumes all customers are the same, worse it even renders empty custom fields in the invoice (where one assumes if they are empty at least the label will be hidden too).

Setup contact
Currently a contact must be either a Vendor or Supplier. No other choice. There should be "free"contacts that are not tied to particluar currency or sale or purchase. For example, shareholder, employees, counterparties. This will allow much more flexibility when associating transactions.

Import Customers and Vendors from Zoho CRM
With the recent change to how we view contacts all imported contacts from Zoho CRM are entered in as a customer. We used to be able to tell Books which accounts are customers and which are vendors. We need this ability back not all accounts are customers or we need to be able to tell the sync how to map CRM accounts into customers and vendors.

All Customer and Vendor Statement print from single button only
Our CA asks all the transactions (Statements)Customer wise and Vendor Wise. It is not possible to open each contact and print or download the statement. there should be a single button from where we can print or download statement of all the contact of a specified period.

Custom Field Types - Include Image, File Attachment, Text Area
Sure this would have many uses, though for me one of the biggest would be to enable these additional options within the client portal.
They could be used for client specific terms and conditions, contracts, designs, allowing much more to be obtained by the client in the portal.

Multiple clients under one company
We have multiple clients from the same company
1) We Require separate link
i ) to check for company wise details
ii ) to check for customer wise details.just like "Display Name"
With the facility we have now, we get duplicate contacts.
2) Payments are also made for multiple clients from same company in one transaction.
i ) Finding difficulty in matching payments to multiple clients from single payment.
ii ) Could not generate Outstanding receivables report by company wise.

Allow download and upload of Bank information for Contacts from one Organization to another
Currently upon integration of Banking with ICICI the bank information is entered in the vendor contacts. The same is not being downloaded or there is no option to export the same into a file.

Custom options in the dropdowns
That allows to load values from a json file, xml or csv among others.
Allow dropdown groups to be made to filter content according to the selected value.

Remark to Populate in sales orders it does shows up in Invoice
Remarks that you set in customer details do show up when you create a invoice. They do not show up in sales orders. Can this be fixed please.

Additional Address custom name
Here is my issue. I own a service company and as such we never "ship" anything to customers so the shipping address is useless to us. We have many commercial customers that are paid by "Parent Companies".
So the billing goes to the parent company, however, the address where the service was performed is completely different. Currently we have a custom field on the invoice for this called "Service Address".
I would like one of the following:
1) Let me change the "Shipping Address" label to "Service Address" or
2) In "Additional Address" let me change the label to "Service…1 vote -

I have the same primary contact person for 4 customers. The Client portal should allow the same primary contact to login and look at the details relating to all the 4 customers.
There should be an option for login on the basis of client group. There could be multiple clients belonging to the same group.

Enter only First Name for Contact
We need to be able to enter just First name for contacts. Alot of time only get that and last name is not needed.

Custom view to filter all SEZ contacts/ all regular contacts etc
I would like to view the contacts which have been marked as unregistered so that I can update the contacts. Would also be useful when I would like to view a list of SEZ contacts, regular contacts etc.,

I would like
I would to suggest that the customer statement or even vendor statement to show ageing analysis at the end of the statement. Its difficult to collect outstanding amounts if customers cant see the amounts which are 60,90 and 120 plus over due.
Currently the customer show total amount and from that amount you need to determine which is 90 days plus over due.
