Integrate with Zoho Books' Reporting Tags to break down revenues by ZS Product and Plan
Zoho Books launched in July 2016 the reporting tags features, which enables to tag customers or invoices so that Revenues can be reported on a filter basis, by product line or location. This is ANALYTICAL ACCOUNTING, adding another layer instead of multiplying the number of accounts, which would be overwhelming.
It would be great if we could define Reporting tags by Product and by Plan in Zoho Susbcriptions, so that we could get break down or filter revenues by Product and Plan in Zoho Books!

In our case we need to group/conbine subscription invoice data with item data from regular invoices - not filter it. There is no way to do this other than reporting tags. This adds lots of additional work for us. And, it doesn't make sense from a usability perspective. If you can add a reporting tag to an invoice books, then invoices from subscriptions should also - an invoice is an invoice and should have same features regardless of its origin.

In my view this task can be easy implemented by integrating Plan or Product name field in Subscriptions with Item field in Books. Since Item in Books may have whatever reporting tags, the Plans/Subscriptions data will be filtered in the Books' reports by Item=Plan or Item=Product. The integration between Zoho Checkout's hosted page name and Books' Item name is already implemented. Why not to use the same logic between the Subscriptions' Plan or Product and the Books' Item?
