We are so happy to announce that the much-awaited Zoho Invoice – Zoho Sign integration is live! You can now digitally sign your estimates and invoices before emailing it to the customers. Also, you can receive the customers’ signature while they accept the estimates.

Hello everyone,
We are so glad to inform that using the Zoho Invoice – Stripe integration, you can now receive payments through iDEAL.
If you are yet to set up the Stripe integration, please make sure to enable both “Credit card” and “iDEAL” payment methods while setting up the integration (under Settings > Integrations > Online payments > Stripe).
In case you already have the Stripe integration set up, you can choose the “Edit settings” option (under Stripe integration) and include ‘iDEAL’ payment method.
In addition, please ensure you’ve enabled iDEAL payment method inside your Stripe account too.

Timesheet approval to customer
We like to send a completed timesheet towards our customer for approval, without sending the price details. either by e-mail or through the customer portal.

Custom template for the receipt
It's a necessity to have custom template for the receipt.
Different country have different law regarding the details that goes in the receipt.

Print original, duplicate, triplicate & quadruplicate in invoices
Generally when we print our invoices we take 4 copies. Each copy will have on the header region
"Original for Buyer" - 1st copy
"Duplicate for Transporter" - 2nd copy
"Triplicate for Assessee"- 3rd copy
Extra -4th CopyThis is as per our sales tax rules in our state.

In Zoho Invoice, you can print 2/3/4/5 copies of the invoice. This enhancement has been rolled out a while back and we are sorry that this space wasn’t updated.
You can change this preference in Settings > Preferences > General.
Note: This option is available only to the Zoho Invoice organisations that belong to the Indian edition.

Weeks starts on Monday
Simple request...in Europe the week simply starts on monday and its confusing to log time on calendar that starts on sunday

Accept Estimates without a portal login
Freshbooks gives the user a unique url for the estimate and automatically logs them in. Avoiding the portal login requirement. zoho invoice should do the same. alot eaiser for customers to accept estimates when they dont need to login.

Dollar discount
Instead of offering a discount percent there should be the option to supply a dollar amount discounted. So instead of 15% off I may just want to give them $10 off.

To try it out, just make sure you’ve set the discounts to be at “Invoice level” under Settings > Preferences > General.

Display project name in invoice header
Currently, when creating an invoice, you can choose to display the project name in the item name. This creates unnecessary repetition. Please add an option, either in the "project invoice information" or, more likely, in the template setup, to display the project name in the invoice header (i.e., the section that contains customer name, invoice number, etc.)
Also, the requirement to show in item name at least one of the following: Project name, task name, staff name should be removed. In other words, I would like to show only the item description.

Multiple languages
Associate language to a customer so reminders and notifications can be sent in their language and also the ability to group customers so a particular language can be associated to them.

Desktop time tracking widget
It would really be great if there was a desktop time tracking widget with per project list. I currently use Billings software for this, which they've done very well, but I would really like to make the switch to zoho invoice. This is really an important feature for me. I jump back and forth between projects constantly, so it's really important for this to be easily done.

Detect if clients open emails OR specify SMTP sending server in account
It would be really usefull to know if the client has receive the invoice, if he opened it, etc.
Otherwise if we could specify in our settings, the smtp server to use to send the emails (ex.: Mandrill).

All you have to do is enable ‘Email insights’ for your organization. We shall take care of the rest :)

Automatically apply credit amount to the client's next invoice
When I add a credit note to a customer's account, I have to apply it after their next recurring invoice has been generated. This means they get an invoice showing that they owe money, then after I manually apply the credit, they get a note showing the account as paid.
Can we automatically apply a credit note to any subsequent invoices, so they are only invoiced for the balance due? It seems a bit tedious to have to go back and manually apply the credit note. Another option is allowing the customer to apply the credit. It doesn't seem that…

We are happy to inform that in Zoho Invoice, you can now automatically apply the unused credits (which includes both credit notes and excess payments) for upcoming recurring invoices.
You can enable this option by switching to Settings > Preferences > Recurring Invoices. Here’s our help guide for reference:

pay all invoices in one transaction
Please allow customers to pay all due invoices in one transaction and apply payments on all selected invoices. I am coming from FreshBooks, and that is an available option. When customer has multiple invoices, clicking pay now gives them an option to combine rest of the outstanding invoices and pay them all at once. Should not have to pay multiple invoices individually. Annoying for customer and the additional fees for us..

Deduct from Retainer before sending Invoice
What i have noticed, is when i generate and invoice, i have to
1. Save it first
2. Deduct the Invoice amount from the Retainer
3. Then finally send it off to the clientWhat would be much more idea.
1. Invoice is created.
2. Zoho Checks to see if there is funding in the Retainer account
3. Just below the invoice, Zoho, shows u how much is in retaner
4. Zoho, then shows u a [ ] check box, asking you if you would like to deduct the invoice amount from the retainer
