I am an event planner and I'd like to be able to add sub lined items that belong together under one grouping.
For example,

Creative Decor Design - $$$
- Balloon Bouquets - $$$

We sell the same item (shoes) in eleven different sizes. For know we skip the size range on our invoices but it would be great if we can add the qty for eacht size in one row and can get the sum of these items next to it to make the total qty.

I would like to create sections in the Item table. For example, let's say I have products and services for location 1 and products and services for location 2.

You could add a row with text (one column) that could be labeled "Location 1", then have rows below it with itemized pricing for products and services. Then add another section for "Location 2" with rows below it for products and services.

Each section having a subtotal, then at the bottom of the document, line items totaling all sections with a grand total.

This would be a great feature to handle subsections within a single quote/estimate.

I always add the items when I make an estimate.
I think it could be great to create Group of item where every items are configured with the correct amount.
For me, one of the Group I could make is :
- 1 hosting
- 2 day of development for the front office
- 1 day of installation and configuraiton
- 1 day of test
- 1 day of managing the project

But now, I have to add each one for each estimate. It's long...!

The ability to create subtotal groupings, or chapters, in estimates and invoices is essential to us.

A grouping would consist of a description or simple info line, normal items with quantities etc., and then a subtotal which totals all the amounts of the items within that grouping. You can then create another grouping and repeat.

As a landscaper, we offer products in various sizes. It would speed up the process considerably to be able to create a certain product, create all the sizes we offer and corresponding prices. Some of our plants have 5 or 6 options each and when you offer a few hundred types plants it can be tiresome.

Can you please add SUB-TOTALS within one ESTIMATE/INVOICE? And be able to add lines just for notes.

Yes I agree, it would be very useful if invoice items had groups (sections) with their own title etc. and don't count on items numbering...
This could be done by adding special items with a flag or "style" like "title", "new page" etc.

Adding sub item in invoice and quotation. For example, item #1 might come in two different sizes or colours. So Item #1 coffee mug, black coffee mug 2 peices and then sub item: red coffee mug 1 piece. This is great feature and will further enhance zoho invoice.

This feature is particularly helpful for custom made goods such as tables with different sizes, doors etc.
