If your requirement is to add images at invoice-level, you can add them as attachments to the invoice so that it gets sent to the customer when you e-mail the invoice. You can attach files while creating/editing the invoice.

Be able to create a separation to show charges in sections like all Charges for a special part or date with a Sub Title and perhaps a bold dividing line to indicate section or new topic heading within the master estimate or Invoice8 votes
I have had customers view their quotations (estimates) via the client side portal, and then they have accepted the quotation. We get an email from zoho to tell us the client has accepted the quotation. But we then have to emailthe customer, or call them and ask for an order number, so I can put the order number on the draft invoice. when a client accepts a quotation, they need to be given the option to fill in an order number. No customer places an order without an order number anymore.1 vote

Simply put, I am a subcontractor that sends proposals to several contractors for the same project through a shared network. I would like to eliminate the redundancy of entering the JOB location when I change the contractor I am sending to.
Default- this info must be entered every time, even on a cloned proposal.
1)create proposal with client and project location info (new or existing in drop-down)
4) select new/different client (from dropdown)
5)*still have to manually enter project location (rather than info xfer from original)
6) save/send etc.
Trying to eliminate step 5.
It would be nice to be able to select a template that prefills products onto the estimate. So if bundle 1 always has items x y and z my agents dont have to fill out it every time.27 votes
I need a multiplier added to the items field. I rent equipment to clients and my prices are perday. i need to be able to bill them for multiple days.
Item: Power tool
Days Rented: 4
Basically just add a multiplier to the items field. I will have to look to another application provider without this being available.6 votes

For this particular requirement of ours, we would suggest creating an item with the name “Power tool” and rate set to “$ 50”.
While creating the invoice, you can just pick this item and enter the “Quantity” as 4 so that the final amount becomes $ 200.
Also, inside template settings, you can rename the fields “Rate”, “Quantity” and “Amount” fields if you wish.

All items in Zoho Invoice must be currently priced in base currency only, and doesn't allow to involve more than one currency within a single estimate (Euro, an example)
For all our estimates we use the same customer currency (Euro).
Is it possible for ITEMS to add another currency (USD?) with automatic update of exchange rates to customer currency (Euro).
As result we'll be able to use a few items in $ and Euro within a single estimate.25 votes

When I build an estimate with many categories and line items, sometimes I'd like to Bold a heading and or make a line item Red or something important I'd like to underline.

An estimate with multiple variety items can be submitted to customers. The customer must be able to select the items he needs( allowing the customer to select items and quantity) and accept the estimate.93 votes
Right now Estimates can only be "Sent", "Accepted", or "Declined". I do not bill by the individual estimate so converting to an invoice is not an option. I need to ability to know when a particular estimate has been completed so I can recognize that it is not an active job.8 votes
Have the ability to cancel an estimate / quote. Not always are the quotes declined, but cancelled for other reasons. When I review my Accepted vs Declined, I receive an inaccurate decline number because I want to keep all quotes for future purposes, rather than deleting them.23 votes
