Critical!!! Very important to have in the Zoho Invoice! All other system versioning the quotes

This should be a very basic feature in all system that can generate Quotations.

Quote versioning is a feature that may clients have been asking for.Lot of development efforts are saved if provided.i request Zoho to provide this feature ASAP

but of couse...growing needs, things never ever thought of shall mushroom. Always.

Please add quote versioning. This is a huge oversight.

Hello, we Need quote versioning, as is VERY important for us to keep the same quote number, but if that quote is modified ( this happens a lot in our industry, requested by the client) we need to keep the same Quote number and simply add Rev1 - Rev 2 Rev 3.

As it is now I can do 2 things

1.- either I keep editing the same quote (this is to keep the same Autogenerated quote number) then have a custom pick list with options like "rev1" "Rev2" "Rev3." On your quote template, you will have a "Created date " merge tag and next to it a Merge Tag for the "rev"

the problem is that if you revise it, it will show the original created date. AND you also don't have versioning; So if a customer comes back and says we need to go with version 3 out of 7, you don't have it.

so the other approach is to Clone the quote, but this would give me a different number that does not relate to the original. This can be confusing for people who are receiving several several quotes. regarding several projects.

I seen people ask for this feature 5 years ago, other quoting software do this. as well. Come one Zoho it's not too dificult is it? subet of auto numbering PLEAAAASE
