allow different customer address formats for different templates
When we create invoices, we have different needs for our Customer Addresses for different templates. For example, our customer address format needs to be different for tax exempt clients per IRS rules. Unfortunately, I can't make a separate Invoice template for Tax Exempt because changing the Customer Address Format is universal across all templates.

receipt template
I love that invoices have a retail template with 3" or 4" as paper size. Can you also do this for Payments & Retainer Payments please? Our receipt printer prints that size and we really would love to be able to print Zoho payment receipts.

Sales Staff assigning in users and rolls
There should be an option that sales stuff can access as a user to generate invoice, sales order, payment entry extra. So we can track sales persons contribution to the firm as well as sale and the collection.

tax summary
In the Tax Summary report, when we drill down to the list of all the transactions in the tax type, can you add 2 extra columns being,
1- the account that each transaction went to (eg fuel, postage, materials etc)
2- the vendorIf there also was an option to the see bank feed detail also that would be great but not as vital and the first 2 options listed.

I would like to get file attachment container for customer credit notes also becuase we have to attached airlines credit note to the note
Since our business has requirement where we need to share actual credit notes with our client thus we want a feature were we can attach actual airlines credit note to the client credit note. Thus please provide us a container in the client credit notes where we can attach the file. This will also be helpful for auditing purpose. We know that we can email separately any files, but we want to keep it in our ERP software also for auditing purpose.

Option to hide invoice from customer portal
There should be a selection button on each invoice, that you can check the box if you want the invoice to be shown in customer portal. If not checked, it means the invoice will stay hidden until you select to check it.

have a stand alone mileage recording
Mileage Recording. I am from Australia and using set rate method and claiming GST based on that. Calculation is not straightforward towards deductions and GST and there is limit per kilometres ran per year. It will be great if you are able to create something like that for Australian business or at least have a stand alone mileage recording.

items sales history
Ability to view Item history for SALES as well as PURCHASES when viewing any individual item. It's great to see the purchases history but SERIOUSLY lacking that you can't see a SALES history of various items.

Item Numbering
After several years of use, we feel that it would be helpful to have a label option to add Item Numbers to each item.
Users may have the option to check whether to have Item Numbering in preferences.

Bank Charges field on iOS app
When recording an invoice payment on the web version of Zoho Books, I am able to enter bank charges for a transaction, but not on Zoho Books for iPhone/iPad. That field is simply missing. I can run the web version just fine in Safari, but it’s a clunkier workflow. I would love to see that field added for the iOS app.

Pull Exchange rate from HMRC
Can we add an option to allow us to select the Exchange rate from HMRC? so when you click on the Exchange rate, you have options to set it manually, but also, you can then see what it is from XE and HMRC perhaps? or even just a quick button to show the rates in a window?

To provide direct link from invoice, estimate or expense to the project it relates to.
It is really necessary to be able to switch from invoice , estimate or expense to the project it relates to. The business most of the time is project based and it is frustrating after reviewing or editing invoice, estimate or expense to start navigation to corresponding project again from scratch.

Allow deleting draft invoices but not sent invoices
If you don't want to give a Role the permission to delete invoices that have been sent to a customer, but only invoices which are in Draft status.
