  3. Different tax accounts per tax code

  4. Show the status of how many items are yet to be paid

    Would like to suggest Zoho Books to track down different payments made in one invoice.
    Lets say a client purchased 7 items from me, and made payment for 4 of the products >> Zoho books shows the status of the transaction.i.e status will show: 4/7 items paid.

  5. Bulk Actions in Projects/Timesheets

    Ability to add/remove users to multiple projects. For example, what happens in the situation where you have 500 active projects, and you need to add a new employee to the projects? Currently, you need to manually add the user one project at a time.

  7. Add an image to the customer portal

    I need a way to upload an image into the client portal. For my business it would be great is there was a section that said artwork and I could upload an image there for my client to view. An added feature would be so I can lock the artwork so It can't be downloaded. Maybe have that as an option for me to set whether they can download the file or not.

  8. Comments in client portal

    Add an indication in the portal as to whether a comment posted in the portal is private or public. As of now (as far as I can tell), you are given the option of checking "display in client portal" when making the comment, but once the comment has been made, there is no indication as to whether the comment is viewable by the client (public) or only by the user (private).

  9. Some strong suggstions which i think would benefit almost everyone using Zoho Books:

    1. Allow many different versions of invoices i.e. not just one "terms and conditions" generic to all invoices. Allow unlimited versions with no restrictions.

    2. Improve reports so that the user can decide on detailed criteria to export by (and create dashboards based on that. calculate/export total "automotive expenses" for this calendar year, or total revenue from client ABC from last month etc.

    3. Allow REVENUES and EXPENSES to be logged/categorised in more detail such as per product/project. i.e. 1000eur sale was for Product A and $2000 sale was for product B, and 200euro expense was for product B. Then you can look…

  12. How to record loans and repayments, interests etc.

    This is an incorrect way of implementation of loans.
    This needs a proper implementation for zoho books to compete with mainstream solutions. As of now its just about fine to record expenses and generate invoices. Balance sheet level stuff is still lacking behind IMHO.

  13. Calculation of multiple Commissions per Sales Line Item or per Invoice Total

    Allow the possibility of allocation of a Salesman code per Sales Line Item , whole Order, Subscription and per customer/subscriber.
    - Calculation number one would be done for an individual Order or Line item according to the line item or order code. The Line Item Salesman would override any Order based Salesman.
    - A second calculation would be based on the Customer/Subscriber allowing for a second commission to be calculated for one order line.

    Calculations would be accrued at invoicing time with payments being generated on receipt of payment.
    A matrix would define the calculation based on either Product Code…

  15. Editable type of account (Asset, Liabilities, Equity, Income, Expense, COGS, and so on)

    The "account names" in chart of accounts are totally editable, but somehow not the "account types".

    Since I am originated from a non-English-based country, the reports generated will look off cos they have some English terms in them.

  16. Add due date and discounts to retainer invoices

    Please add option to include due date and discounts to retainer invoices. It should be possible to add all the from a regular invoice to the retainer invoice.

  19. Add "semi-monthly" as a schedule for recurring expenses.

    Recurring expenses may be set weekly, monthly, every x months, on particular days, or on a custom schedule, but there is no means to make a single expense recur twice in one month on fixed days.

    This functionality is useful for expenses associated with payroll (e.g. recurring reimbursements) for organizations that have semi-monthly payroll cycles (e.g. 5th and 20th).

    Presently, accomplishing this result requires the creation of two distinct expenses, one for each of the two recurring days, each of which recurs on a monthly basis. This works, but it is burdensome to manage.

  20. Better integration of product information between crm and books

    When I create a product in Zoho CRM and put a cost in the unit price field when the product info syncs to zoho books my cost from zoho crm becomes the sales rate instead of the purchase rate and the purchase rate is blank- this should sync to the purchase rate.

    Can we have a feature to syncronize price lists automatically? right now my understanding is that you have to export and import manually

    Also, when I mark a product as inactive in Zoho CRM I have to also manually mark it as inactive in Zoho- would like to…
