Add Shopify tax inclusive orders sync support
The Shopify - Zoho Inventory integration does not currently sync Shopify tax inclusive orders. This is a real showstopper for the majority of sellers since they are displaying the prices with VAT/Tax included. We are in the same situation - the only way the order sync works now is by pushing tax exclusive order from Shopify to Zoho Inventory but this means we are forced to display prices without VAT/tax in our storefront. Obviously this cannot work for retail sellers.
By speaking with Zoho Inventory support, the issue is that Zoho Inventory does not get the tax percentage from Shopify…

For Books+Iventory: Add options for quicker/easier quantity entry & lines
I recently logged in to test Zoho, as I am awaiting until it is ready to handle the tasks that we require.
Currently, there is no easy way to quickly add lines. For instance, tabbing to move to other fields or pressing enter to create a new line.
One of the things that bothers me, is that when entering a sale quote or invoice, the format is SKU-Quantity.
There should be an option to reverse this. In the English language, when ordering 2 of the same item, it is standard to mention the quantity first, "I would like 2 iced…

Provide more flexibiltiy in inventory reporting
When executing inventory reports, (optionally) suppress inactive items and/or items with no stock.
Also, allow for modification of output columns (ie. include warehouse name in output)

Have a backorder feature
When a SO is confirmed mark all items in that SO allocated, if stock allocation level falls below zero the item would become backordered. Then have a centralized list when one could go see any items that are backordered and have that integrate with PO's, so once ordered it would show as "on order"

On PO Templates, allow SKU as a display field
I tried to update the template for POs - because we want to see OUR SKU - it won't let me
Real world use case - you want to be able to see your SKU on a PO sometimes.
ALSO, its really helpful if you can define a item/supplier relationship where you can define the vendor's SKU for EACH vendor (so, you have 3 vendors for a product, they all have different SKUs - being able to define each's and have that print on PO Is VERY HELPFUL.

Items view - sort by SKU
In the initial view of Items (from the sidebar) - you can sort by Name - but cannot sort by SKU.
Real world - you want to be able to sort by SKU

Notification System for Zoho Inventory on sync errors.
I had no clue that my orders were not syncing anymore. We need some way to get notified if a sync errors occurs. Either on the dashboard or in an email. That would alleviate tech support on your end as well as me having to explain to my employees to look out for it. Figured it out this time but I am sure there could be future errors too.

Track items purchased against a sales order
It would be great if you can track the status of the items that have been purchased and items that need to be purchased for a sales order. Being able to check if a SO is "purchased" or "partially purchase" would be very helpful in ensuring nothing was missed.

create a sku generator so you can create a new item within zoho
When you have a new, original item specific to only your store (such as a handmade item that would be sold on Etsy) and you would like to create it as a new item within zoho, zoho should allow you to create a new sku and generate an 8 digit or higher sku number for your product.

Sales Order status progression
We would like the option to change an order status from Confirmed back to Draft, or add an option of "Holding" or "On-hold" - this will allow orders that have been invoiced and are ready for packing, but should not progress further because we're waiting for payment or some other issue which needs to stall the order progression until resolved.

Adding existing Items to an Item Group
When importing products created in an online store they come in as items even if there is a configurable. Right now you can add a new item, but not an existing. Also being able to edit the items group would be great!

Predictive search to operate on all words
When adding items to a Purchase Order, the predictive text works very well for the SKU or the first words in the item name. However, this does not work for other words in the description and this would be helpful.

Composite items can be put in other composite items
This would make for better use in a manufacturing environment. Sub-assemblies are often used in a full assembly (composite item) so we would need a way to keep track of built or in stock sub-assemblies. We could do this if a composite item could be used in another composite item.

Copy an Item
Is there any way to duplicate an item? I am selling footwear and the same "Style Number" and features are used over and over but sizes are different. Would like to be able to copy items over and over and just change the sizes rather than start from scratch every time when creating a new item.

Allow Supplier Item Pricing in a Different Currency
I distribute products from suppliers arounmd the world. Their price lists are not in my base but their local currency - USD, JPY, EUR etc.
I need to be able to enter supplier currencies for each item. At the moment their prices have to be converted into the base currency. This means that when a Purchase Order is created in their currency the prices are always wrong (as exchange rates change) resulting in me having to manually update each price from a paper price list.
This wastes a lot of time and could be avoided.
