Print shipping labels directly to thermal printer
It would be nice to be able to print a shipping label directly from zInventory instead of having to download it and then open and print it. We do a lot of shipments and it just becomes cumbersome.

Should be able to bulk import changes to price lists
We have a problem in that every time an item increases in price, we need to export the sales price list for each customer that has bought that item, update each price list with the new selling price, and then re-import them all individually. This is very time consuming when there are lots of customers who have bought each product.
There is currently the facility to export all the sales price lists on one spreadsheet, but not the facility to re-import them on one spreadsheet. This would make the above task so much quicker.9 votes -
Improve search in ZOHO Inventroy
Dear Zoho, please improve the seach function fields fields (especially items in purchase order) so partial strings of item names show results. Today, you can only find an item if you start with the first character of the item name. This is important if you have many similar named items which are distingueished by trailing characters. Example: Item "Boat-Sail-small" will not be found when typing "sail". Especially employees which don't know the complete naming conventions of items yet and situations with misspelled item names pose currently difficulties which could be solved by beetter search.

Credit Note in Zoho Inventory
I would like the ability to issue credit note in Zoho Inventory.
Customer issued PO and we generate a Sales Order and invoice accordingly.
Goods has been delivered to customer, however, due to certain circumstances, the customer decide to return some of the goods to us.
Payment had already been made, therefore I'm required to raise a credit note for them. The goods, depending on whether I want the customer to dispose, or return to us, should reflect in the inventory accordingly.

Allow entry of serial numbers for serialized items during packaging
Allow for entry/scanning of serial numbers during the package phase instead of during invoicing. The packaging is done in the warehouse where the items actually exist and can be scanned, not in the accountants office where the invoicing is done!!! Now we have to figure out some work around using spreadsheets, sales order numbers, item numbers, and the scanned serial numbers and then get that data to accounting and hope nothing get confused in the process.

No option or report for batch tracking in zoho! Alas. Useless
In zoho you cant track movement of a particular batch even with the batch tracking enabled for stock items. Like if you want to query about a particular batch like to whom it was sold !
This is not possible in zoho, whats the meaning of enabling batch tracking in stock item then ?

like we supply to multiple partners, they send purchase order to us, we create sales order in system for say 6 buyers, we should have one consolidated purchase order option.

Batch and Serial Numbers Added on Packages and Receives...NOT Bills and Invoices!
I order a several products from a manufacturer, they ship 1 today. It arrives at my warehouse. My warehouse manager looks at the product, sees the batch number, and can't edit it on a receive???? The bill may not arrive for weeks. When it does, it may combine several receives. When it does arrive it goes to the accounting office, which now has no idea what the batch number was on the merchandise.

Option for serial number entry while packaging and shipment
The inventory system should have option to enter the serial number while packaging and shipment and the system shall pick up the same while invoicing.
Because while sending the items to customer, we need to put the serial numbers in the document.

Package-wise billing
if the invoice could be raised by referring to packages made, Partial shipments can be easily invoiced.
For eg.
a sale order contains 100 items. only 80 is available in stock and can be processed immediately.
Packages can be created for these 80 items.
If there is an option while invoicing to point to the items packed in the packages, the invoicer need not manually go through all the 100 items to deselected the 20 that is not being shipped. Saves a lot of time, especially for us where we despatch about 200 items everytime.27 votes -
Editing Items within Composite WITHOUT unboxing
Problem: Currently, when a Composite Item's BOM (Items list) changes post-Composite Item boxing, it is required that we inactivate the Composite Item, create an identically new Composite Item, and go back through ALL open Sales Orders AND Estimates to update the Composite Items to the new configuration.
Solution: We should be able to edit the BOM (Items list) for a Composite Item, and have the Composite Item's BOM (Items list) automatically update for ALL open Estimates and Sales Orders, while maintaining the original configuration for the already boxed Composite Items as they have already been assembled (boxed).

A history should be visible of all item quantity adjustments, purchases, etc.
If a quantity of an item has been adjusted in stock manually, there should be a history of what happened with that item (there should be all history where should be possible to see all movement of goods by date, etc.). But now there is no any history about adjusted item. For example, when creating an invoice and choosing a quantity of an item, stock automatically updates, but there is no possible to see a history. Packages - we need to be able to have multiple package shipments
When creating a package currently you can only create one package, everyday there is a couple packages that take 2-3 boxes to fulfill the order, and we can't process that in Zoho. Therefore we have to use UPS worldship and then manually enter the order.

item price management based on quantity or total sales
I would like to have the ability to manage item price based on quantity for ex : from 1 to 3unit = price 1 , from 4 to 9 unit = price 2 etc ...

Purchase made easy
There must be a way to list all low level items of the same vendor. Even better would be an additional list of all other items of this vendor. Then simply click the items you want to order and create (request) purchase order. It would be also handy if the list should show items which are already in request/purchase to avoid a double purchase.
