  1. Add report status on PDF

    It would be helpful to add the current status of the report when a PDF output is taken or when the report is printed. If I PDF the report after it is reimbursed, it could clearly be stated in the PDF, the current status that the report is reimbursed. If the report is approved or submitted or draft, the respective status can be added to the PDF in bold good sized font. You may also want to consider to add report history log to the PDF optionally

  2. Make Shared Reports and My Reports visible simultaneously

    Since the shared reports are already visible in the Reports screen, create a way to see all reports (mine and shared with me visible at the same time).
    As of now, you cannot create a custom filter that includes Shared Reports and My own reports.

  3. Edit Expense Screen (within reports) add [Save and Next] Button

    When editing individual expenses as listed in the Reports View there is a save and a cancel button. Any changes that are saved moves you back to the main reports view. Instead a Save, Save and Next and Cancel button should be displayed to allow for a more organic editing flow from expense to expense.

  4. Conditional Report Fields

    It would be helpful to have some fields on the expense reports conditionally required. For example, if a sales person submits a receipt for a meal with a client, I'd like a field for the client's name to be required without having to make that field required for other types of expenses.

  5. Proposed changes to Report Summary

    Is it possible to expand the current "Report summary by currency" to include the following:
    1. Under "Total Expense Amount" include the option to show a summary of the expenses per category for each of the currencies which should total to the total expense amount per currency.
    2. Add the option to transfer funds between currencies, e.g. when you convert e.g. USD to EUR at the airport or bank. To have the option to be able to process this transaction and move funds received in advance from USD to EUR to be able to at the end of the day…

  7. Summary (Category with totals) Page on the Default Template.

    Page at the end of the Default Template with Categories used and their totals.

    System fits us perfectly ...Thank you...but a check box in the admin section of reports....would be a great time saver since we wont have to export and reformat.

  8. Clone/duplicate a report

    Clone/duplicate a report to be able to streamline the process of submitting similar reports without having to insert all expenses again

  9. Run one report for trips and expenses

    It would be very helpful if the system allows to run one report for trips and expenses. By that, companies would have full visibility when a trip is requested,aprroved and expenses are submitted & reimbursed in one report as currently trips and expenses cannot be connected in one report.

  10. Highlight "Total Expense Amount" as opposed to "Amount to be Reimbursed" in reports

    We have consultants creating dozens (if not hundreds) of expenses to be sent to customers on a monthly basis.
    Most of these expenses are paid with their company's credit card but some aren't, so both Total Expense Amount and Amount to be Reimbursed are very important as the total will be sent to the customer and the Amount to be reimbursed is what the employee/consultant is claiming.
    Why do we only have the option to put "Amount to be reimbursed" in the header of the expense report?

  11. Show project code on PDF report

    On the PDF report, would be great to let the project code be shown. It could go next to project name on every expense as it is now.

  12. Format the columns in the exported files.

    When the expense reports are exported as XLS, the amount column is not formatted as Number/Currency. Hence, unable to apply the excel formulas.

  16. Multiple base-currency

    When you have multiple office location (several countries), each their own accounting teams, it is essential to be able to assign a different base currency to each team

    example: accounting team in the US will want to see reports and reimbursement in USD, UK team will see in GPB....

    Hi,

    We have ‘Reimbursement Currency’ feature for the global edition organizations in Zoho Expense. Using this feature, Policies can be associated with a currency.

    The users in the policy will have the policy currency as their base currency. The Reimbursable amounts for the expense reports created by that user will be calculated in that Policy Currency.

  17. Budget request, cash advance, liquidation

    There is currently a disconnect with the Expense app vs. actual real world practice.

    In the real world, there are two types of expense normally.

    Liquidation - When an expense is deducted from a previously released cash advance.

    Reimbursement - When an expense comes from the employees own pocket but is marked as reimbursable expense or company expense.

    Also, what normally happens is that Accounting department / Petty Cash custodian releases a cash advance after a BUDGET REQUEST. The employee will then have to liquidate a cash advance after a certain date, set in the company policy. Multiple Budget Request…

  18. Choosing the currency to show the expense report total.

    Choose the currency in which you need to see the expense report's total. If the client's currency is different from the base currency of the organization, then this report should be sent to the client in his currency, not the base currency of the organization.

    This would be helpful if an employee needs reimbursement in a different currency.

  20. Electronical signature.

    Our accounting office demand personal signatures on reports.
    Users should be able to upload a picture of their signature that would appear in the PDF reports together with the name of the submitter and approver as it is today.
