email tracking
Currently there is not a way to keep track of emails that have been sent, aside from copying yourself to the email.
Sometimes I need to follow-up with clients who have not paid in over 30 days, and if I did not cc myself then I do not have a copy of the original email.
I would like to see a copy of my email just incase I need to refer back to it.
I know the CRM integrates with Zoho Mail, so something similar to that would work.

The history shows when the invoice has been sent - okay. Then 10-20 days later I start to follow up the client and he was like "I have never received your invoice in first place".
Being able to see in history that email with the invoice/estimate has been sent/received/opened by the client is a must-have in this types of transactions. Please implement this. -

we need to know a invoice was viewed when the client opens the email rather have a client use the portal view and pay in one step notification to pro that at least it was viewed

Yes this would be very useful, I have needed to view historical quotes lots of times but have been unable to view them and have even ended up asking my client to send me my quote back which is not very professional. I dont want to CC myself as I have far too many emails as it is, come on Zoho, this really should be sorted, it's been 3 years since you said it was planned.

Yes, would also like to see this. Or at least a way to view the content of sent emails rather than just a list of the subject and date sent.

I use "share invoice link" a lot -- but not customer portal. It would be great to know if customer looked at invoice via invoice link. Report of logs would be great. Thanks for a great product.

Yes, this functionality should really be in the invoicing app. The idea of emails being sent out that you can't track is really strange.

Please add my vote!
Much needed when clients claim not to have received an invoice. To be able to forward a sent mail with its invoice to prove it was sent would be extremely helpful. -

I add my email address as one of the contacts for the client and configure invoices to be automatically sent from Zoho to me as well as the client. That way I have the original invoice and email thread in my own inbox and can follow up even when not logged into Zoho.

Have emails sent through Zoho Books show up in gmail "sent" folder :)
