    You have left! (?) (thinking…)
How important is this to you?

I would like to create section headers in an estimate/invoice so that items can be grouped and subtotaled. For example, an estimate that has products being sold, with sales tax. Then another section below that is for services with a section subtotal. This way the customer can clearly see what the cost is for product and the total for services. Having the ability to create sections in quotes with headers keep the estimate/invoice easy to view.

I would like to create sections in the Item table. For example, let's say I have products and services for location 1 and products and services for location 2.

You could add a row with text (one column) that could be labeled "Location 1", then have rows below it with itemized pricing for products and services. Then add another section for "Location 2" with rows below it for products and services.

Each section having a subtotal, then at the bottom of the document, line items totaling all sections with a grand total.

This would be a great feature to handle subsections within a single quote/estimate.

    Hi Ron,

Creating a purchase order is not possible through Zoho Invoice since it primarily focuses on the sales cycle of your business. However, you can achieve it using Zoho Books.

Zoho Books is a super-set of Zoho Invoice and an extensive accounting application. It has every single functionality as Zoho Invoice and in addition, you can raise sales and purchase orders and much more.

You can easily upgrade your Invoice account to Books using the steps mentioned here:
    https://www.zoho.com/invoice/kb/general/upgrade-to-zoho-books.html

If you have any queries, feel free to drop an email to support[at]zohoinvoice[dot]com

    Regards,
    Reshma.
