Timesheet Invoice Creation should Use Dates
When using the feature to create an invoice from timesheet data, although I can generate line items for each timesheet entry, the dates are not importable despite there being a date field in my invoice. This should be connectable for automatic import. Putting the date in the Line Item description (though available) is a poor substitute when I have a date field.
Hi Preethum,
Thank you for posting on our feedback forum.
We would like to understand your requirement better and hence it would be great if you could drop an email to support[at]zohoinvoice[dot]com explaining the same.
Looking forward to your response.
Regards,
Reshma.

For the record, I submitted additional details, to which I got this response from Harry:
"I would like to clarify that the "Date" column you've highlighted in the item table is no way related to the Timesheet date. It's a custom field you must have created under Settings > Preferences > Items and it's not possible to populate the timesheet date onto that field."
I was then told it would be passed onto the development team for consideration of connecting those specific date fields from time-sheet to invoice. That was 9/5/17....No response since then.

I'm assuming this feature didn't get added since it is still on the list. I'm not exactly clear what the original requesting was proposing. However, I do have a need to specify specific dates on an invoice related to timesheets. I can pull in specific dates from a timesheet into an invoice, but I cannot specific the "from" date only the "through" date on the invoice. Anyone who bills for time-based services would need a from date and through date on their invoices.
