  1. Set previously issued invoice to a recurring invoice

  2. Add expense to existing recurring expense

    I'd like to be able to set a previous expense as a now-created recurring expense profile.

  3. Custom fields in the bulk expense form

    I created a custom field called "Supplier", works pretty good but it would be great to be able to fill the form directly in the bulk form. Or at least letting the user which field they'd like to fill in the bulk entry area.

  4. Draft should only get invoice # when sent

    To avoid gaps in active invoice #, we should only associate an invoice # when the draft is sent or mark as sent.

    Some of our invoices are created as drafts to keep track of our different incoming invoices for the same project. We send them at different milestones of the project. So, during the time that we work on a project, and it can take months, we can send many other invoices. This is where the gaps between invoice numbers is created.

    So, drafts should have their own numbering (i.e : DRAFT-01) and get their invoice number when sent.

  5. need an option to add items and prices applicable for particular contacts

    in B2B, not every customer has same prices for any SKU. In this case, we should have the option to add items and prices applicable for particular contacts / customers

  6. Allow tasks to have duplicate names

    Currently we cannot create a new task in a project with the name of an existing one.

    But usually, when we are re-discussing a project with client, arrive a moment when we are reviewing a task rate.
    So we have :
    "Task 1" - Rate 100$ in 2016.
    Then after rediscussion we will -
    - deactivate "Task 1"
    - create a new "Task 1 - Rate 2017" - Rate 110$

    But basically for the client, this is the same task / item. Only the price has changed.
    As that name (might) appear on the invoice, this is not very client…

  7. Invoice number suffix

    In some countries invoice number is strictly defined by laws. I.e., invoice number is the first number, followed by some other numbers. For instance, invoice #34 could be 34-1-2, where 34 is invoice number, 1 is sales person identification, and 2 defines location.

    It would be nice, if we can't define sales person and location IDs, if it could at least be possible to define suffix for invoices.

  8. Add outstanding balance to new invoices

    Please add a calculated or manual field on the invoice template that enables us to send new invoices containing the outstanding balance from prior transactions. I think that any serious invoicing software should have this feature. It's a must. It helps us collect the debts.

  9. Change Default Sorting

    Please make an option to change the default sorting of expenses/invoices.

    I would like to have my expenses sorted by date by default. Right now I have to change the sorting every time I visit the page, as we often get invoices that date back some time at the end of the month. For lookup – however – I need them in the order of the actual invoice date.

    It is especially annoying, that when I click on the date label to change the sorting it first sorts them in ascending order showing me my invoices that are years old...

  10. Customise contacts view

    When I look at the Contacts view, it's important for me to know which country the person is in. I've worked around the problem by putting the country in the Work Phone field, but it would be nice to be able to customise what information is shown in the overall summary (and sort on country).

  11. subtasks

    as you have in ZOHO project, You are able to make subtasks.
    With invoices this is not possible.
    So you could invoices the subtasks but you can log you hours for later references and new projects.
    For example.
    This is for project A for Client 1
    Prestudy is something i would like to invoice to my client.
    In the pre-study phase, I have to do some tasks like getting base info, talking with stakeholders, setting up meetings, making meeting reports.
    All the tasks I don't won't to place on the invoices, just pre-study the rest of the info is for…

  12. Increase number of shipping addresses to unlimited ?

    Need shipping address limit increased to unlimited if possible. I invoice a single client for upwards of 200 locations. Thank you for your consideration.

  13. invoice show total of all invoices due

    Can we have an option that shows on the Invoice for a customer, their current status of account. eg. I have customers who pay a lump sum in advance, each month the Invoice simply shows a that it's paid but doesn't show what their credit balance left is. Also if a customer hasn't paid the last bill, it would be good to show on the Invoice that they have an overdue balance without affecting the overall totals on that invoice.

    Thank you for posting on our feedback forum.

    1. For letting the clients know their credit balance, you can give them access to the client portal. When they login to the portal, they would be shown a dashboard which has information about their “Credits available”.

    2. Displaying their overall balance due – For this, you can insert a placeholder in the email templates.
    - Move to Settings > Email templates > Invoice notifications > Show mail content;
    - Use the “Insert placeholders” option and insert the placeholder for “Customer Balance”;
    - Save the changes.

    The above placeholder will just display their overall unpaid amount without affecting the balance of the current transaction.

    Hope you are doing good!

    Zoho Invoice typically deals with the sales cycle of your business and hence you can add your customers’ information here but not vendors (suppliers). To manage both clients and vendors, you can opt for Zoho Books.

    Zoho Books is an accounting tool and a super-set of Zoho Invoice. In Zoho Books, you can create Purchase Orders and associate it to vendors ; You can email them as well. If you are using Zoho Invoice already, you can upgrade it directly to Zoho Books so that all your Zoho Invoice data gets transferred over there.     In Zoho Invoice, apart from the pre-defined templates, we have something called “custom HTML templates”. These custom templates give you the freedom to build your own invoice template using HTML.
