Payment Notice Templates
When recording a Payment and selecting “Send a “thank you” note for this payment.
I can not choose an Email template or a Payment Receipt template.
The system sends the default Email and Receipt templates.
I have created a few Email and Receipt templates, but can not select them when sending a payment notice.
The Email and Receipt templates were created so that the Emails and Receipts reference the items paid for.3 votes -

With Slack, a notification when an invoice is submitted for approval and subsequently approved.

The ability to shift click or control click when selecting customers for printing statements.
If I could shift click or control click when selecting customers, a range of customers, for statements it would be very helpful. As it is now, if I want to print the first 100 customers I have to individually click check each customer. If I could click on the first one and shift click on the 100th one, it would be great.

Categorisation of Invoices
How about having categories in Invoices?
E.g. If we have decide to differentiate invoices based on departments / services or say locations, then there should be an option to view them separately.
Say we can assign tags to the invoices and have diff views based on those tags in addition to the existing vertical view.

In Zoho Invoice, though you would not be able to ‘group’ invoices per se, you can make use of custom views to categorise your invoices based on different criteria. You can refer this link to know more about custom views:

Greater Zoho Projects and Zoho Invoice Integration
It would be very helpful if Zoho Projects could be more seamlessly integrated with Invoice. To me this translates to full integration:
- all projects in Projects are visible in Zoho Invoice
- any changes made to budgets, hours worked, etc. show up in both programs in real time.
- Time clock in Invoice also available in Projects - when recording hours in Projects, they become visible in Invoice.4 votes -

integrate chat in zoho invoice
It would be very helpful to integrate a chat in zoho invoice. We use all days zoho invoice in different terminals and internal communication is very necessary. I know Cliq exists, but we do not want to have many windows open. Thank you for your attention.

We have recently introduced ‘Web tabs’ in Zoho Invoice which can help you access Zoho Cliq as a tab within the Zoho Invoice window. This can help you access both the apps without having to toggle between multiple tabs.

Attach expenses to invoice number rather then client name
Attach expenses to invoice number rather then client name. When we have many job numbers for 1 client its not possible to see expenses separated by invoice number.

Please, help me to use the tool
Good morning and thank you for everything.
I would love to use the tool for invoices in my business as a lawyer here in Italy. There are three major issues:
1. In the area "contacts" it would be necessary to have the VAT number of the client, which is compulsory under Italian regulation for invoices;
2. It would also be necessary to have a "withholding tax" field, also compulsory, with automatic calculation of the paiment due.

Delivery note custom text
We would need to add a custom text to delivery not like Customer signature and date of received shipment so they send it back as confirmation.

PayPal Business Payments Pending
I noticed this was suggested three years ago, but I wanted to bring it back up. Currently there's no indication that a payment is pending if client paid with eCheck, which is confusing for me and the client both. I know there's a way for the Zoho app to "talk to" PayPal's system, because Freshbooks shows payments as pending when they're in process.

In Zoho Invoice, you would not be able to manage your vendors. However, you can do that with Zoho Books.
Zoho Books is an upgraded version of Zoho Invoice, where you can manage your receivables and payables. You can easily upgrade your Zoho Invoice to Books using these steps:

Expense Reporting by Employee - i.e. A Reimbursement Statement
Feature: Add 'Employee' to expense, and be able to return a report of expenses for that employee
Reason:
In a company, a number of different employees are permitted to submit expenses.
A Manager A might claim for a flight, Office Staff B might claim for some printing paper.
At the end of the month, it is important to be able to identify which staff members submitted which expense claims.
A report (statement / reimbursement notice) should be printed for each staff member itemising and totalling his / her claims.
Current Situation: No function to do this simple but common process.

If you wish to have detailed metrics on the expenses associated with each employee, you can make use of Zoho Expense, an exclusive expense reporting tool.
Using Zoho Expense, your employees can submit their expenses, get it approved/reimbursed. You can also run detailed reports on the user-wise expenses across the organization.
If you integrate Zoho Expense and Invoice, the approve expenses from Zoho Expense would be pushed into Zoho Invoice automatically.

Time entry should assume : when start/stop time entered, auto fill task when only one task on project.
When entering time it would be helpful if the system could auto add the colon when using start and stop time format. Let me enter 0900 instead of 9:00. Stupid yes, but it would save time. Also, if the system could automatically select the task when there is only one task listed on a project that would be a big help as well. Both would eliminate unnecessary typing and clicks.

More styling options inside the various editors of Zoho Invoice
One of the feature that we missed the most about our last CRM is the possibility to style a bit more the invoices and the quotes. We have found with time that the ability to style some keys parts of our invoices improve greatly the comprehension for our customers.
Basically, we need the possibility to make text red, bold, Italic [...] inside the invoices and the quotes.

customer statement
I think being able to preview custom invoice templates would help greatly and should be one of the next "To Do" things on here.
It would encourage us to use portal for out clients more.
Also, when sending "Unpaid Invoices" to customers, the file sent comes with links to the portal for individual invoices, and the preview on there looks horrible.
At least to be able to remove the link to the portal like view of the invoice when sending "Unpaid Invoices"
If this will not be something that can be done in the near future, at least to have…

remember location in invoice list after saving an invoice
After saving an invoice, return to the invoice list where you previously were in the list.
Currently, when you return to the invoice list, you are back at the top of the list

.DOCX Customisable layout for Sales orders, Delivery Notes, Invoices etc
instead of HTML option which is not very user friendly, have customisable .DOCX templates for all layouts like the competitor Xero.
this uses merge fields and can be edited using MS Word for example - very easy to use and can get documents looking exactly like you want them rather than being restricted by the very basic templates in ZohoBooks1 vote -
Calendar view
I find it really gets in the way of using Zoho that to get to calendar view I have 3 clicks. Timesheet - All timesheet - Calendar View. This page should be right under dashboard on the Left menu given how integral it is to the use of the app, so I can bounce to it constantly.
Not being able to set calendar view as a default is frustrating.

Recurring automatic delivery and automatic charges
We have an oil business and busy families want automatic deliveries with automatic charges to their card and an automatic statement or monthly statement but not both
I think I would need notifications to remind me to send the driver out with the oil truck and a reminder to charge and send the statement.1 vote
