  1. On-screen bill shows blank description

    We often don't enter any description for the line items on bills received - just the account codes and amounts are all we need. Once a bill has been entered, the "on screen" view of the entered bill shows the amounts of line items, but with blank descriptions. This is not very informative. Under the Customize options for the Item table of the Bill template, it would be really helpful if you could include Account as a possible option to select for the bill.     WHEN WE ADD UNIT VALUE OF A PARTICULAR ITEM SAY DOZEN OR KG BUT WANT TO SELL IN INDIVIDUAL PIECES OR IN MILI LITRES IN TERMS OF A LIQUID ITEM WHICH IS NOT POSSIBLE IN ZOHO BOOKS,I REQUEST YOU TO PLEASE MAKE UNIT COLUMN EITHER AUTOMATIC,FOR EXAMPLE IT SHOULD KNOW HOW MUCH PIECES A DOZ CONTAINS ETC.,OR PROGRAM IT IN A WAY WHERE USER CAN DO IT.

  3. Display quantity sold and received in return against and item

    Items section should have fields showing QTY of an Item bought, sold and received back in return (not only show the final stock).

    Same should be available in sale by item report(customisable).

    It will also help analysing the best selling/low selling/satisfactory/Nonsatisfactory Item etc.

  4. I'm a distributor for multiple companies, but here i'm unable to generate the reports of stock movement company wise

    I'm a distributor for multiple companies, but here i'm unable to generate the report of stock movement company wise. when we check report all items are coming, we should have grouping of items.

  6. Add Customer Name in Bulk Expenses

    Theres is no option to select Customer Name when adding Bulk Expenses, only Vendors. We want to associate that particular expense to a customer in an efficient way

  9. "Tax Inclusive" by default

    In the settings there is an option, which we can choose (1) tax exclusive or (2) inclusive or exclusive. Now the GST has implemented and we are all supposed to raise tax inclusive invoices. So along with these two options, there should be an option which is always tax inclusive.

  11. When we are in Books doing a billing action, we need the ability to add notes to CRM. We can see CRM notes in Books, but cannot add, edit.

    Currently we can easily see CRM notes on the account we are viewing in Books, but we cannot easily add new notes. Currently we have to manually open CRM, copy and paste into CRM, click search, pick the correct contact, scroll down to notes, then add. So many steps that no one currently makes notes whenever in Books.

  12. Vendor Accounts Receivables + Commissions Receivable

    My Business model is complex, but we are incorporating a lot of what other businesess are doing, which is having referral partners. It would be great to have a feature where we could bill our vendors for commission owed to the business or have a feature that allows vendors access to make payments to us instead of vice versa.

    A vendor portal would be beneficial for this.

  13. grouping the customers based on a particular area/route and able to take item based sales summary based on this customer group

    In New Contact, please provide a provision in customer list to group the customers based on a particular area/route and also provide an option to take that customer group (area/route wise) sales summary (products) ie products names and its total numbers for the particular route/area.

  14. Sales by Sales Account in Reports section.

    Some of us use Product Lines as Separate sales account. This will help with generating reports just based on that.

  15. Warehouse add on. Either increase the number of warehouses at the basic level or charge a nominal fee to add more.

    Increase the number of warehouses in the basic level of Zoho Inventory or allow the user to purchase more warehouses at a nominal fee. I need a warehouse for samples. I box the item which changes my raw materials count but it goes on a sample rack not into general inventory. I can still sell at a later date so I need a place to store them in the software. Thus a samples warehouse.

  16. Recurring Invoice

    I would like to be able to display retainer invoices on a customer statement. Currently only payments are on displayed on the statement. Since we issue retainer invoices in advance and accept payments in advance, it would be helpful to see both on customer statements.

  17. Connect Invoice<>Bill w/o Tags for Reports

    Would be great to be able to have a "Project based P&L" where we can easily find out +/- on a project based on Invoice/Bill w/o using tags. Tags are great but it takes way too much time.

  18. Apply tax to all invoice unstead of sigle product

    Juste like discounts , have the possibilty to choose how to apply it in invoices , means at level of the invoice amount or in level of signe item .
    When having many items in invoice and apply the tax one by one , it's juste too much

  19. Add unbilled bills to project area of dashboard

    I would like to see unbilled bills assigned to projects, in the project area of the dashboard, just like unbilled expenses. This will give me a better idea of what will be invoiced at the end of the month.

    When there are multi contacts with a company, the function of selecting contact person is not available.
