  3. Budget of free/included hours in projects

    I need to be able to specify the number of hours included, which will be deducted from the total number of hours worked when the invoice is issued.

  4. WAY MORE Zapier Update Actions with Support for Custom Fields and Payment Gateway

    We need the ability not just to create an invoice or customer but to FIND and UPDATE an existing customer or invoice. Right now this is not possible and makes zoho books which is otherwise a pretty good program, difficult to use. It also needs to work with the custom fields and with the payment gateway options(IE enabling the gateway for a customer). Adding Zapier functionality is ALWAYS a good thing.

  5. Selection of Debtors & Creditors in Journal

    In the Zoho books, there is not possible to select Debtor or Creditors in Journal Module, so kindly allow us to select the same.

  6. Allow an Accounts Receivable ledger which shows Customer total (currently the total per customer does not show)

    Four our auditors it is a requirement to show a ledger which shows the Accounts Receivables sorted by Customer with a total balance for each Customer. Currently the ledger can only be created without the total per Customer.

  7. Reduce the size of mobile uploaded receipts!! It takes over 30secs per receipt over mobile data

    I make several business purchases a day, uploading each to Zoho through my mobile is very time consuming (20 secs approx over wifi, 30secs over data). Reducing the size of the image uploaded, or background uploading will massively help this - i don't need an 8mega pixel receipt.
    I've used Expensify before and their system is much better.

  8. add a column for "merchant name" on zoho books

    im using zoho books and zoho expenses.

    we need merchant column in zoho books also like in zoho expenses

    or atleast on zoho books > expense reports.

    now its time taking to know to whom we paid

  9. The ability to mark multiple projects inactive/completed at one time, rather than individually.

    This would be a huge time saver if the project list had a checkbox next to project where you can mark it "complete" or "inactive," instead of manually opening each project to deactivate. I work on hundreds of projects a year, so that would be very helpful feature to have.

    Sometimes, a user can erase an Invoice for mistake.

    It will be helpful a recycling bin to can restore it.

  12. In Manitoba Canada we expense the PST portion to the same account as the original expense not to a separate tax expense account.

    I would like the MB PST to go to the original expense account as opposed to a separate tax expense account as it is now at year end I have to go back to that account and move everything to the appropriate expense for year end purposes. very time consuming

    Can we also have the ability to require customers to sign invoices? It would greatly improve the ability to follow up on payments

    Accounts receivables are analyzed by the average number of days to collect payment (called Days Sales Outstanding or DSO), and accounts payable are analyzed by the average number of days it takes to pay an invoice (Days Payable Outstanding or DPO).

  17. Automated manual journal for depreciation at X% rate

    In Canada, depreciation rates for tax reporting purposes are determined on a per asset category basis. Depreciation is not linear. It would be nice to automate a journal entry based on that % and the remaining asset value on the BS. Example, for a 1000$ inial asset value that depreciate at 20% per year, Depreciation expense at year 1 is 200$, remaining asset value is 800$. At year 2, depreciation expense is 20% x 800$ = 160$, remaining asset value is 640$, And so on... Right now, the recurrin journals feature can only be set at a fixed depreciation value…
