  1. do not include opening balances of non-cash asset accounts as part of the cash flow statement.

    Furniture transferred from another non-profit as a donation (included in opening balances) should not impact cash flows. In fact, no opening balances should impact cash flows. Opening balances occurred prior to the beginning of the accounting system, so even the opening balance for cash is not considered cash flow. If this was transferred from a previous system, that system would need to report the cash flow. Anything in Zoho books on the balance sheet if added to cash flows would technically be a double counting of the cash flows that led to the opening balance being transferred to Zoho. We…

  2. Display Delivery Method on Invoices and POs, and allow us to set a default

    Not sure why this field is treated like a second class citizen. We need to display it on POs and Invoices, and would be nice if a default could be set as well.

  3. Prompts ( Are you sure? ) when deleting a item in a sales order/invoice

    When you are in a sales order or invoice you can add items and then delete them can a prompt be added to ask if you are sure before just deleting that line?

  4. Custom options in the dropdowns

    That allows to load values ​​from a json file, xml or csv among others.
    Allow dropdown groups to be made to filter content according to the selected value.

  6. Auto estimate generate

    We should be able to select items and click on prepare estimate.
    this will save lot of time. and if you have already added all the items with description, buying and selling + Tax Treatment etc. Estimate will be ready in less than half a minute.

    for example : select 4 items and "click on Generate Estimate"
    you are done, just need to pick up the customer and send it.

  7. Sales Tax liability report

    Please fix the non-taxable list to show the name of the client as an option. It only shows invoice numbers, and a blank reference # list. I can't find anywhere how to add the name under the reference list to make it easier.

  9. Show Count and Sum of selected transactions and export selections

    This should be applicable to any transaction in any module. I want the ability to multi-select transactions and have a summary at the top or bottom tell me how many are currently selected and the sum of all transactions. I also want the ability to export the selections as a CSV. This is very useful for finding certain expenses that need to be reimbursed and quickly totaling the amount that I need to write a check for. Or perhaps I want to see the net of some non-sequential transactions in a given account. Or maybe you want to quickly sum…

  11. Migrate including attachments to Zoho Books UK Edition

    Enable the migration to the UK Edition of Zoho Books including Attachments, currently if I want to migrate I will lose all the receipts attached to the expenses.

    I do want to migrate to the UK Edition, however I do not have the time or patience to manually export every receipt and re-attach to every expense, it's the one barrier to migrating.

    I wouldn't even mind if there was a seamless migration charge.

  12. Toggle imported Transactions

    In quickbooks online edition, when you download transactions from your bank, it gives you option to toggle mulitple transactions if are putting in same category. be nice if this feature is available

  13. Segmentation of accounts to user specific sales people to manage those accounts in say a different country or 3rd party distributor

    So I have a distributor in the United States which I would like to have a zoho books login. I want to segment my overall account details such as turnover and only have this information available thats specific to him/her.

    So when he or she logs in they can see the following:

    Which customers are allocated to them
    How many sales that customer has against their name
    How many pending, sent and outstanding invoices their are.
    Their overall turnover etc etc

    In roles and specific roles this cannot be done as I keep seeing when I log into a test…

  15. Billable Bank Charges

    It will be perfect if you add the (Billable) checkbox beside the Bank Charges field when an invoice is paid (either through the Invoice itself, or by Invoice Payment inside the Contacts and any other possible place).

    I found this Billable checkbox inside the Expense which is very good, but having it beside the Bank Charges will make things easier for us.

    For our business, we do put the bank charges on the customers, so if they issue the payment with putting the charges on us, this fees will be added to their next invoice.

    Hi All,
    It would be great if you could integreat - PayPal Standard & Paypal Business UK, as a UK user of ZoHo books we are resticted in use many of the features that zoho US offers and I feel this is very unfair!

  19. Add the ability to make a custom field required for contacts.

    In Guatemala a NIT number is necessary to be able to claim a deduction. I would like to be able to make a custom field mandatory, and make it show up everywhere the contacts information is presented.
