  1. Create a ZenDesk App specifically for logging time against projects

    I would really like a ZenDesk app that would have two functions.

    1. It would lookup the customer by matching the ZenDesk "organization" name to the customer company name.

    2. It would then filter to show projects associated with that customer. From there someone could easily select the correct project and task and then if it filled in the ticket ID and subject from the ZenDesk ticket into the notes field for the time entry on the project that would make logging time through ZenDesk super easy.

  2. Project sorting option by date

    It would be nice if we have an option to sort the project both on the Dashboard and on the Project section too to sort by date so we can easily recognize which project came first.

    It would be helpful when using the All Timesheet screen to filter out inactive contacts from the customer drop down menu.

  4. Zoho TimeSheet Rollover of Hours for uneven hourly Rates

    Hi,
    I was working with Sudheer S on the Zoho Timesheet uneven hours (task rates of $125hr and $165hr) for a total project cost of $1250 as displayed below. Please let me know what is the Develop Team progress and or timeline for fixing this very bad issue. This really affects my billing because I always overcharge or undercharge the client for time spent as displayed below in the two attached pictures.

  5. Allow a new billing method "Based on Task Cost", for when each task has a flat fee cost.

    Included a new Billing method for when each task has a flat fee cost associated to it: "Based on Task Cost".

    I have projects where each task has a fixed flat fee, so I can´t use Staff Hours or Tasks hour and is not a Project Flat Fee neither.

  7. Project or Timesheet Fixed Fee option

    We only have Fixed Fee Projects.

    Need a way to create a projects with tasks that can be set to completed with the option to put the date started and ended.

    Then have proper reporting to view the completion of or the timeline completion.

    Seems this option has been ignored in the past posts and never looked into in either Timesheets or Projects.

  8. Project with itemised fixed budget

    I want to be able to create a project that has itemized fixed budget. For example lie this:
    - development : 5000.-
    - design : 3000.-
    - hosting: 1000.-

    When I issue an invoice for the project, I can show the items.

    Right now I can only have one total fixed budget, which I need to edit every time something is added and when I issue an invoice, only one line for the total budget is indicated.

  9. 'Timesheets' should be changed to 'Projects'

    The main area navigation selectors within Zoho Books include an option called "Timesheets" below "Accountant" and above "Reports". This option should be renamed to "Projects" as it is more than just timesheets. Hierarchically (within Books), it is Projects first, then it is timesheets, expenses, etc. Having to click on "Timesheets" to get to the "Projects" area is weird and confusing. Small change, but would make the UI make a lot more sense.

  10. Add ordering feature.

    Allow a customer to log on and choose what item they want to order. This would start a work order automatically.

    when the user switches one project to another project we are not able to stop their access for the current project.

  12. Implement the creation of a common task list for all projects

    The user should be able to implement and utilize a common task list for all projects to simplify time entry on a project. This would be useful for users who regularly utilize the same tasks over and over. This would enable the user to avoid having to re-create the same tasks for every new project.

  13. Allow fractional hours in project budgets

    Currently, when editing a project with a budget of the "Hours per Task" type, Zoho rejects any number of hours that is not a whole number. For some small projects, it would be great to budget, for example, 1.5 hours for a task, instead of having to round to 1 or 2.

  14. Add the ability to print a project as a "Job Ticket".

    A "Job Ticket" with Project Name and Description, including Task List and Task-Descriptions would be very useful to help visualize a work flow.
    In addition, an option to label it as either "Job Ticket" or "Assignment Confirmation" would be beneficial for CRM.

    Request you to enable an option to staff for marking the task as complete and a mail should go to the admin for confirmation of the same

  16. Add the Timesheet link to the Weekly Time Log so that I can jump to the entry and add my Notes

    It's nice to quickly add a time entry to the Weekly Time Log, but I can't add Notes there - I have to click out and around to get back to that entry to add my Notes. If you were to have either 1) a Note entry block, or 2) a link to the Time Entry so that I can quickly jump there and add the Note, that would be awesome!

  17. The ability to mark multiple projects inactive/completed at one time, rather than individually.

    This would be a huge time saver if the project list had a checkbox next to project where you can mark it "complete" or "inactive," instead of manually opening each project to deactivate. I work on hundreds of projects a year, so that would be very helpful feature to have.

  18. Allow incremental billing

    Add the ability to bill in increments. Allow us to set the number of minutes by which to increment by so if you set your increment to 15 minutes and you have a task that took 13 minutes, it would automatically round up and bill at 15 minutes.

  20. add a little more project tracking into zoho books.

    I love zoho books for my small professional services business. I just need to be able to organize a project with tasks and subtask (or phases and tasks). If you did this, you would be the only simplified project accounting software on the market right now. Integrating project management with accounting would be so awesome!
