  1. Create project with recurring invoice and recurring bills

    For our marketing sales, most projects are fixed monthly rate with fixed monthly expenses. I would like to make a project that can send recurring invoice for fixed amount and create recurring bills for fixed amounts

  5. Project Statement

    We will like to generate statement of accounts for Projects rather than Clients . We have clients who we run mulitple projects with and they sometime want to see statements related to that project rather than all payments. It helps with clarity

  6. Copy weekly timesheet project and task categories to the following week

    When i set up my timesheet for the week I have multiple tasks from multiple projects. I'd like to be able to duplicate the projects and tasks to the following week's timesheet so I don't need to scroll through all the project / task drop down menus that are hard to read.
    also want to be able to add comments in weekly view.

  7. Why aren't task lines based on my service items?

    What's the point of having service items if I can't use them in my projects? All of my project revenue goes into a single revenue account, rather than split by work type (per my service items).

  8. Add a weekly calendar to Timesheet, All Timesheet

    The monthly calendar is fine, but a weekly calendar would provide a more granular view of the week, and many organizations want timesheets posted by the end of each week.

  9. It would be nice to be able to create PO, add expenses and invoice by additing item for construction and maintenance projects

    As a construction and maintenance company we need to track our expenses, create purchase orders and invoices(by adding items) under a project. Any transaction that is created under the project should automatically reference the project.

  10. Add a way to template invoice preferences for projects

    The majority of our projects are invoiced with the same fields.
    We have a project template that we clone.
    The cloned projects inherit the invoice preferences of the original.
    But - if you edit or rename the project after the initial clone, the invoice preferences re-set.
    It is annoying to have to constantly re-set the invoice preferences.
    If we could set our default preferences we would only need to deal with them occasionally

  11. Project-wise Summary and P/L Report

    We need to be able to generate & export a report which shows us basically all the data that we see in the projects module - Project Summary, Expenses & Bills, Sales, Payments, and Profit & Loss. Currently, the only project related report is Task/Time Spent related.

    1. Project Summary
    2. Estimate Value
    3. Payment Received from Customer
    4. No. and Value of Invoices Raised
    5. Amount yet to invoice.
    6. Total Bills
    7. Total Expenses
    8. Payments Made to Vendors
    9. Expected Project Materials Cost
    10. Expected Project Manpower Hours
    11. Actual Manpower Hours
    12. The profit and loss for the project.

  13. To be able to select Items as Tasks in the project creation.

    We have created a series of items in order to create estimates. But I would like to be able to select these 'items' i the same way when creating a project.

  14. Project users shall have limited rights

    Project users shall have limited rights

    In Zoho Books, under Timesheet, a user can be added to a Project.
    The user's rights can be limited to view only using the roles settings.

    The problem is that once I add a user to a project then that user can see all invoices, expenses and bills of the entire company. It would be great if he/she could only see the invoices, expenses and bills related to the project, to which he/she was given access to.

    This needs an urgent fix to comply with data protection regulations.

  15. Task pricing for Projects

    add the ability for a price to be entered into a specific task for a project and then carry that pricing over to the invoice when adding all unbilled time for a customer. right now you have to enter the price at the invoicing screen.

  16. Field Labor Users

    We love Zoho and appreciate what you have created! In our line of work (Electricians), Phone Numbers and Addresses are the most basic things that FIELD LABOR USERS would need when they get time to start and try to complete a PROJECT. As they finish up with one Project, they need to call the next Customer to make sure they are home, ready, etc. Field Labor cannot do this right now. We've had to copy and paste the Contacts phone number and then go back and copy and paste the address into the Project Description. At that point our Techs…

  17. To provide direct link from invoice, estimate or expense to the project it relates to.

    It is really necessary to be able to switch from invoice , estimate or expense to the project it relates to. The business most of the time is project based and it is frustrating after reviewing or editing invoice, estimate or expense to start navigation to corresponding project again from scratch.

  18. Work Order

    I would like to be able to create a Work Order from the Sales Order without taking items away from the Sales Order.

    A Work Order is what I issue to the employees who will perform the work in the field. I need items and quantities to come from the Sales Order and not show the monetary value.

  19. Fixed Price Project Snapshot Current Billing Period Summary

    The project summary Snapshot shows a graph with a toggle to switch between this week, this month, last month, last week.

    Below the snapshot graph is a section with Logged hours. This shows all previous hours logged and billed in a simple column.

    Please add a column (next to the column that shows total logged hours for the project) that shows the logged hours the project that corresponds to the toggle in the project snapshot.

    the above be added as it significantly improves the administration of a fixed price contract for us the user.

  20. Associate a project with a tag

    Currently, we can add a tag to a costumer. But what if all the departements are invoicing the same costumer? We need to add a tag to a project, but we can't. Currently, I need to change the tag each time I create an invoice.
