Is this being worked upon. Am finding reports are highly lacking.

For example, a simple report like Today's Sales (invoice) is missing.

Let's say, I can customise Invoice History for that.

Then, I get the problem that I have CUSTOM FIELD of Voucher Origin specified, which is basically stating which of my office (2 within the city) generated the invoice. I can't see any field to choose in Customise.

The idea of Customisation of Reports is that at least CUSTOM FIELDS should be able to be used as a FILTER.

I wish Zoho Reports was cheaper (say half the price), then at least I would buy the Standard Package and generate reports that I want, rather than keep requesting for small reports all the time

I am very dissatisfied with the lack of number of reports and within those, the customisation - can't even change Page Orientation.

Hope you either add and improve quality of reports or provide Zoho Reports at a discounted price to Zoho Inventory + ZohoBooks subscribers.

Also, add the option to display a column for Notes

It would be great to have a report with the chosen Tax code. Great for having control. This would solve alot of human error when users choose the wrong tax codes for particular items.

Thank you for the progress on this but will there also be a way to set a default customized view? Everytime we run the report we have to run the filters again. Even better would be if we could name the report and and select thru different customized reports for easy access by the Owner. TY!

In Ireland, as is the case in other EU countries, a business with purchases of goods from other EU countries greater than €500k p.a. is required to make an "intrastat" return.
This requires an "Intrastat report".
There is asimilar requirement for a business with sales of goods to other EU countries of more than €650k p.a. for "VIES" returns.

Custom fields in reports is absolutely required. We require the reporting functionality to be far more granular in design.

That's pretty much exactly what we are looking for. We are an Austrian based company selling our products in USD though. And since the invoicing is done via API we have to set the base currency to USD so that the price does not change.

Due to that the reporting section of zoho books is useless to us since everything is in USD. But if you manage to do custom reporting where we can integrate the exchange rate on a monthy basis so that we end up with the EUR values for all our reports that would be huge.

I second this, we have most of our business in Spain, and Zoho Books as is, it's useless for an accountant... If we could at least have an integration with ZReports I could take care of the SQL, but being such a closed system, is causing that Zoho Books can't be recommended to our clients

Agree, custom reports would be great! Also note, adding an option even in the default reports to maintain the current view across sessions would be a great first step.

I agree. In Spain they require that the invoice report feature the clients tax number, subtotal, Tax amount and Total. It would be good to be able to create custom reports through zoho reports or similar to zoho CRM. Personally the lack of this feature has us looking at other programs. Im sure a lot of other clients are thinking the same. Seems like a small modification as well.

It seems very odd (sorry) that the Price List report does not include the Item ID. Hopefully this can be done quickly. Thanks

In the Customized mode which is currently available (limited options), please allow to save/keep as favorite so each time it is run we do not have to refilter from default view.
