Create Budgets plans and reports for the real and for the plan..
On financial we need to plan the budgets eased on periods ( day, month or years), that help a lot to compare the budget plan for a different periods.

Is budgeting feature available in Zoho Books yet? I will not switvh from quickbooks to zoho until it is available. Plus I have 4 5 business locations and my personal accounting so I will need 6 accounts. Please make this happen asap!

Really need Budgeting. This is a simple feature every other competitor offers. Its ridiculous to leave this out saying that ZOHO reports can be used as a work around. We can't pay another $15 a month for such a basic feature that should be included. Please work on adding this feature.

Same here, we have used Zoho for over 2years and sad to have to switch to a competitor because of the lack of a budgeting module

Long overdue. Budgeting needs to be part of ZohoBooks, period. Given I've waited over two years, will likely switch to the competition which has similar features and budgeting.

I'm a potential customer, doing the free trial right now. Quite simply, I will not become a paying customer if you don't have a budgeting tool. It makes no sense. Further, I've seen requests for budgeting modules going back 4+ years and repeated responses from Zoho saying they're prioritizing other things. Sorry, but you're not listening to your customers - this is troubling to me and makes me think this isn't the right service for my new company.

Zoho, your customer base is screaming for a BUDGET feature and has been FOR YEARS. Just read these comments! You MUST add budgeting if you are going to keep your customers. Why are you insisting on ignoring these pleas? Budgeting is the life blood of business!

I vote for the budgeting function too. That is the main thing I am out looking for. i was happy to see all the other features of zoho: contacts, expense reports, and thought this will be perfect because it will integrate all our office functions, but then I realized my presumption that budgets are standard for books, made me realize we can't use Zoho. Bummer, it really was going to meet all needs, but now it would be pointless to use without budget. Until you get budgets, we have to move to a competitor.

This has a lot of votes, its a critical feature of managing any business, my data is in zoho books I do not wish to migrate to Xero but it is difficult to measure your business without a budget plan. Why not consider it?

I'm testing the trial version of Books and love it, except that there's NO BUDGETING ability. Really? Who runs a business without a budget? And "not for now" and no other roadmap/feature guidance means that I will sadly, have to go to a different service. Seems like a major problem to me.

I'm currently testing the trial version and love all the features. I do plant to purchase once my free trial period is up. The one KEY feature missing for me is budget management. I need the ability to track my spending against a set budget and get alerts when I'm within a certain range or exceed the budget. It would be AWESOME to have a budget tool added vs. me finding another tool that I have to do all manual entry of my expenses. I'd love to have a 1-stop shop for all the accounting needs for my business.
