Cheque printing & PDC Management module
Every business is issuing cheques to vendors, employees and towards other expenses other than bank transfer and credit card / debit card payments.
So its quite very urgent to add a cheque printing feature in zoho books.
ALSO, In addition to the cheque printing feature, I would like to suggest to your team to look in to add a feature to manage PDC/CDC received from customers and other parties and also PDC/CDC given to vendors and others parties.
Because its directly connected to the cash flow management report. Cash flow management report should be based on the received CDC/PDC & given out CDC/PDC amounts when we forecast cash flow report for a future date.
Every other business owners/accountants who's in the practice of buying and selling goods in the credit payment terms required this feature in their accounting software very badly in order to create and manage cash flow effectively.
Another important issue we always face with PDC/CDC Cheques received - for example: we would have already received PDC cheques from our customers towards some outstanding invoices. But still the payment is actually not debited in our bank. Same time we would not have received all the PDC towards other pending invoices. So during the business process with the same customer when we send a new updates latest SOA - ( Statements of Accounts) to the same customer, the statement report creates again with the invoices which is already paid by PDC. Those invoices which are already against the PDC collected should not reflect in the new SOA's. Hope you all understand my point trying to make here. I think most of the credit business accounting people face this issue.

PDC management is the most important missing feature of ZB, I would give this all my votes, not just 3.
I use a Free accounting software called Manager.io and they added this feature in a very simple way, once a payment/receipt is entered through a bank account, a field named "Cleared" appears on the form with dropdown menu of 2 options, 1) On the same date 2) On a later date, and if "On a later date" is selected, there will be a date field but empty, once a date is entered in that field, the transaction is considered Cleared on the entered date, otherwise, the Txn is considered Pending unless the dropdown menu choice changes to "On the same date" or a date is entered in the date field.
The Banking module in Manager.io shows 4 columns after implementing the "Cleared/Pending" state of transactions:
1) Cleared balance: which is the current balance not taking into account any pending Txns (this is needed for reconciliation as this should match amount in the real bank account)
2) Pending deposits: this is the pending incoming amount to the account, value is in (+)
3) Pending withdrawals: this is the pending outgoing amount from the account, value is in (-)
4) Actual balance: this is the account's balance as if all pending deposits & withdrawals are clearedHow hard is to implement this in a PAID software, knowing that a FULLY FREE software already implemented this for years now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello! While researching data lakes and data warehouses, I came across an article https://www.velvetech.com/blog/data-lake-vs-data-warehouse/ that compares these types of storage. The article explains the key concepts of these two types of storage in detail, demonstrating their applications and benefits.

Until now there is no update on this which is the most important part of an accounting software. Company Cash Flows are getting affected but there is no update or anything from Zoho.
instead of just using zoho we are still using excel to check the pdc receivables. -
