Hello Everyone,
Zoho Books now provides bulk actions in the banking section. You can categorize, uncategorize, delete transactions in bulk with just a single click.

Just like Expenses can be Excluded in bulk, there should be a button for Categorize. Select a bunch of expenses, press Categorize, up pops a window to select and Category, Apply. And you are DONE!!!!

Exactly what Duncan said. Why do we need to have transactions recognised under rules before being able to give them categories in bulk? That makes no sense.
The use of being able to bulk categorize is when you import a bank statement and want to quickly tick boxes for items that can be categorized together quickly. Not all of these would suit being under rules.
I can't believe this basic functionality hasn't been implemented.

no it doesn't. I want to bulk categorised unmatched transactions without assigning any rule. I should be able to check the box for each line item I want, then select bulk categorise. That way I can input the data once for multiple line items and code them into the chart of accounts. This is basic functionality, please add it before you declare bulk categorisation 'complete'
