    This is crucial and amazing that they don't pull through to packing slips. It requires us to create a custom field and then re-enter the serial numbers. Customer service said they're working on this but no timeline.

    They turned it on but it only posts comments/actions that customers take in Books' Customer Portal. It would be nice to be able to ask my coworkers questions about specific transactions within Books.

    I think Zoho wants you to use their CRM, Projects, and Analytics products for budgeting and forecasting. These functions really are planning tools which need to originate from sales and management departments. Books is just the tool to track the ins and outs of your after-the-fact budgeting choices.
