Surface comments, or icon showing outstanding comments, on invoice list screen. Make comments more prominent on invoice detail screen.
When we type comments on an invoice, it's because our team has questions, concerns, or other notes. We need to be able to look at our invoices and see where which need attention.

Report of Unbilled Activity Only Per Customer
I would love to get a report each month per customer of their unbilled activity (time I spent but did not charge for). I do this quite a bit unfortunately and I have to download each report monthly (which includes billed AND unbilled) just to see how much time I spent and what it would have cost them. I then manually add this report and type it into their bill each month so they can see the value in my time.

Condense Taxes into 1 Row
It would be great when using a Tax Group if the row at the bottom would just say "Taxes [10%]" and not list all the taxes out with their percentages. If we could have the option to do just 1 row and put all taxes on that but then break it down for OUR reports only.

Feature to categorise items
Now all items are listed together. It is very hard to manage. If the items could be categorised (like labels in Gmail) and if it could be selectively displayed (like collapsable rows) it will be better if a firm provides services/goods which could be categorised.

Create Retainer Invoice From Estimate: Mark As Invoiced
When manually creating a Retainer Invoice from an Estimate it does not change the "status" from Accepted to Invoiced. This is rather inconvenient as even though a Retainer Invoice has been created, it does not show as Invoiced.

initiate gocardless payment on Due date
On invoice 'Due Date', automatically initiate 'charge customer' (I use GoCardless, so via that service would be my preference but) which is currently adding an extra step to all my invoicing. I can'r use recurring billing because the amounts change every invoice (6 per customer, per year)

Wen you produce some custom things its so difficult to create an item for every single custom product you sell, especially when you produce clothes with a lot of variants, thats why I need to follow the items that I buy with this section and fallow it in a Purchase Inventory .

Allow template-specific customer address formats
I work with both private individuals and companies and would like to use separate invoice templates for those groups. However, customer address formats currently only work across templates. I'd like to option to associate a customer address format to a template.

Customer Messaging in Portal
I am a psychotherapist and often have to share HIPAA material with clients. I know we did some kind of HIPAA compliance form when I first signed on with Zoho.
It would be great to be able to message with clients within the portal. They could be emailed a notification of new messages.
Attachments would be big plus.

Show total Logged Amount and Billable Amount on Project Summary
I would really like to see totals for all clients/all projects on the Project Summary. It shows totals for Logged Hours but not Logged Amount.
It would be great to see this on the dashboard as well. I like to keep tabs on how much money I've earned throughout the month until I finally do invoices at the end of the month.

Show Totals for Hours on Timesheet Filter Screen
It would be very helpful in the Timesheet detailed client view, to see the total hours displayed in the current graph showing. When you look at a client view under Timesheets/Project it shows the running totals of Logged, Billable, Billed, Unbilled. The graph has the ability to filter by This Week, This Month, etc. and shows the hours by graph. It would be VERY HELPFUL to see a numerical value of the total hours shown in the graph, so when us freelancers are tracking the total number of hours billed for that client for the week so not to go…

Automatically add expenses to recurring invoice
It would be great to be able to automatically add expenses to a recurring invoice for a given client, the same way a recurring invoice will automatically include Project Hours from a selected project.

Choose send from multiple SMS numbers
We use Twilio, but have multiple SMS numbers geographically. It would be really helpful to be able to select which number to use for each customer, so that the messages are delivered in the same region as the customer.
