Send Snail Mail Automatically in Recurring Invoice
Instead of automatically sending Recurring Invoices via email, it would be nice if the invoices could be automatically sent via Snail Mail.

Ditto on this. As I send invoices it need to know whether to email or snail mail? I would be nice if I could mark in the customer record email or snail mail and then as I invoice the customer it would either send an email or print so I could snail mail!!!!

It's kind of disappointing this was suggested in 2015(!) and is still not implemented. We also need the ability to send invoices by snail mail automatically with recurring invoices. Original poster suggested a toggle which suggests one or the other, but I need to be able to send recurring invoices by email, snail mail, or both email AND snail mail. Please implement this.

We send out 400 invoices on the 1st of each month. 325 customers want emailed, 75 want snail mail. We use your smail service. Looking for "Preferred Invoicing: e or snail" per customer.

Right now there is no viable way to send recurring invoices via snail mail. The only work around is to set ALL your invoices to create drafts and then edit the individual ones which need to be snail mail and then send them out. This completely eliminates the idea of automation. I can't be the only person who regularly bills their client and has a mixture of those who get invoiced via email and those who prefer paper bills.
Now obviously if I don't have enough credits for snail mail at the time of the recurring run then the invoice should get created as draft and then have the system generate an email to me saying it could not be sent. This would allow me to resolve the issue and then send the invoice from the draft pile.
even as a stop-gap for this if the options of "create draft", "Create and send", "create, send and charge" could be on a per recurring invoice basis it would make it less work. Right now a single snail mail clients holds up the automation of all my customers.
