Thank you for posting on our feedback forum.
The leftbar (the leftmost pane) of the Zoho Invoice interface lists the different modules like Contacts, Items, Invoices, Estimates etc.,, giving you the option to access any module at any time. Moreover, if you would not require a particular module, say ‘Estimates’, you also have the option to hide it under Settings > Preferences > General.
We also understand that the need to view all the transactions of one particular customer and that’s exactly why we have provided the “Sales” section in the contact details page of each client.

Billable hours (rather than Logged Hours) vs on Project Snapshot
The current Project Snapshot shows Logged Hours vs Budgeted Hours. And yet Logged Hours don't impact budget. So where I'm trying to get a handle on how I'm doing against budget, this comparison doesn't help. Hours that are not Billable, for instance, don't affect my performance; so I what I really need to see is how Billable hours are tracking relative to budget.

Make activation of client while creating invoice
Often I am sending invoices, and sometimes it is an inactive customer... but when I FINISH creating the invoice, it won't send or even save as draft until active, which I just realized AFTER it is done. Would be great not to have to recreate invoice after activating since no way to save it.

Thank you for posting on our feedback forum.
We would like to clarify that, once a contact has been marked ’Inactive", it is not possible to create any kind of transaction for that client.
In the Contacts tab, if you choose that contact, you can only see the “Mark as active” option. Only if it is chosen, you can have further transactions with him/her.
Also, inactive customers won’t be listed while creating transactions.

Increse Payment Button and Make a Payment Text Size
On the invoice, obviously the most important thing is for us to get paid. However, you porvide a TINY payment button and payment text, with NO options to change the font size or size of the button.
This is BAD as customers miss this. The payment option should be large enough to stand out and for customers to see it easily to make their payment. Again - payments are the most important part of invoices!!!!

FACTURATION A L'AVANCEMENT
Nous aurions besoin de facturer à l'avancement avec un pourcentage affecté sur chaque poste du devis.
Dès lors, chaque devis validé doit être facturable en plusieurs fois et chaque nouvelle facture doit pouvoir déduire automatiquement le montant total facturé (cumul des factures passées).

Add a sales code to invoice number
Be Able to Add a sales code and then allocate that to the whole invoice e.g
Invoice 200 = Software
Invoice 201 - Hardware
Invoice 202 - Consultancyand then have sales report by the sales invoice code.

Expense screen
On the Expenses screen, there are only 3 options to use > edit, convert to invoice and more. I've been using the MORE button for years to clone an existing daily expense, and change some details to save as a new expense. Why can't the choices under MORE > Make recurring, clone and delete be added to the first screen without having to click MORE, then another option?

I found your app when i became my fathers executor it was the only time tracking app that i could find with that capability thanks
As an executor of a will your time and expenses are taken into consideration in the dispersement of procedes. Zoho invoicing has most of what's needed for the time and effort spent in grouping financing for various people named in a will. It may not be designed for that, but it is the only app I found that works if you bend it a little.

To be able to look at the attachments that were emailed including the invoice and other documents from the activity history log
Currently a user can email an invoice and during the process there is a button to add other documents. Then the user can send this email which includes the invoice and any other documents selected. I would like to be able to from the activity history log that is just above the invoice, to be able to click on a link that will let me look at exactly what what sent. All documents.

Emails to be send with own Mail Servers
What are the possibilities to have the SO, invoice and PO and other email to be send from from ZB via our own email servers (like Google Apps)?

Minimum payment option
It would be awesome if you could set a "Minimum amount due" that your client can pay after checking the "Allow customer to make partial payments for this invoice." option.
This way you could send your client there full invoice at the beginning of a project, with a minimum payment do of %50.

Ability to toggle "Notes" and "Terms & Conditions" fields on/off
As a freelancer, it's very rare that I need "Notes" and "Terms & Conditions" fields – especially those that apply to every single client. I'd like the simple ability to toggle them on and off in all the invoice templates.
