When talking about Custom Reports the way that I see it is

- Select the module (orders, purchase orders, etc)
- Select the fields you want in the report (all fields should be available, just like in Custom Functions)
- Select optional filter(s) - Where you can select a field and enter the parameters, for example a numeric field > 10, =5, etc

Run the report, or schedule it. Why is the answer to this post to add the Analytics module? Doesn't make sense, and voting is disabled

when you create a customized report can it be saved?

Zoho, please explain to me why Zoho CRM is only fully customisable application that you have, while all of your other applications are actively RESTRICTED. It's not hard to filter a database based on conditions. Why do you remove this simple functionality?

I want to be able to customise my report for a particular bank account or asset account or expense account.

In my case I need to show all bank transfers from one account to another for one or more clients. IOW for example the report would extract all payments or receipts for a group of clients.

Analytics report doesn't include sales order, packaging and shipments

The credit limit feature is great, that you Zoho, though we really need to be warned about customers exceeding their credit limit from the Sales Order not when it's converted to an invoice.

i.e. a customer calls to place an order, we create a sales order and confirm to the customer verbally but we don't know if the order exceeds the credit limit until it's too late.

Can we get the same warning on the sales order stage / page as we do on invoice page?

I was thinking we could have custom report within Zoho Books just like you have it within Zoho CRM. You mean we have to pay for another app monthly just to pull up a few reports?

I wish I could create a custom time report by user. It is not even possible via Reports, as confirmed by presales engineer (Titus Andrews, case #20541466), due to the fact that the User column of the Timesheet table in Books is not exposed to Reports.

Sales people using the Mobile CRM module, create a Lead, they can then convert this to a Deal. But to create an Estimate integrated to Books,they have to create a new Estimate in the Desktop CRM under Zoho Finance in Account section. Is this correct, Big problem in duplication and potential errors. The Sales team could use the Books mobile to create an estimate, but there is no tie into the Lead Data. Unless I am missing something this will mean a no go for our Company

Zoho Books allow us to create Invoice Report and add Phone Number of Customer in the report but please also allow us to add Mobile number in report because in India. most people share Mobile numbers and trend of landline and phone has gone now in India

Any updates on this - zoho is otherwise useless if we cant custom our reports. Advise if there has been an update

Custom fields in reports is absolutely required and options to pick the fields in reports would be a good feature to improve the reports.
