import items matched on SKU
When importing item, we need the ability to match existing items on the SKU or the hidden Zoho code. At the moment, you can only match on the Item Code (Name). This makes issues when trying to update item names.

Hi all,
We have included the option to import and overwrite the item based on the Item Name/ Item Code/ SKU. You will be able to see this option in the items import mapping page. Refer to this Help Document – https://www.zoho.com/books/help/items/#import-items

We need to be able to export a batch of items and edit them in a spreadsheet and then reimport but it is important to us that the sheet is matched by the Zoho Product ID and not SKU or anything else we wish to change. That way we can edit whatever we want and the key stays the same.

Fully agree: the matching of articles based on SKU for Sales Order imports is a must. Otherwise, product names translation make it impossible to import a Sales Order...

Please include a match by SKU for the import of Sales Orders. This is the only common piece of information that we have with our Marketplace that identifies a specific item. This change would facilitate the importing of Amazon FBA Sales Orders.
